Shubman Gill (Player of the Match): "Thank You so much. It's quite pleasing. I made by IPL debut against SRH and completed my first century against them. So, life is a full circle. Not really. Just wanted to focus on today and the most pleasing thing for me was the shot against Abhishek Sharma. I wanted to play to the merit of the ball and did not think much about missing out in the last game. Hope to get more 100s in the future and happy to contribute to the team."
Hardik Pandya (Gujarat Titans Captain): "Very proud of the boys. 2 in 2. Last year was very different. This year we knew there will be lot of challenges. The way the boys have shown their character and put their hand up in difficult situations, we deserve to be in the qualifiers.
I spoke with my boys we know where we stand and there will be expectations for us to show what we've got. We have ticked a lots of boxes, have made some errors as well. I don't think any team could run through us this season. The guys have focused where they needed to and that's why we stand here.

As a group we try to hit the right areas and happy to be successful. Same type of wicket that we played against Delhi and the ball was stopping.
Mohit and Rashid bowled in the middle overs and Mohit's variation also works in the middle overs.

You will not chase many games when you lose 4 wickets in the Powerplay. See, we had a high-class bowlers and we thought that the ball would swing early on but it didn't. Gill did well. Credit to Bhuvneshwar Kumar for bringing it back.
100% Klaasen is a great player. No one has come up with support for him. He has a lot of amount of class and power. A lot of pride is still left for us. 11:22 PM IST: Its the end of the road for the Sunrisers Hyderabad this season as they get hammered by the Gujarat Titans by 34 runs in their 12th league fixture. Gujarat Titans at the other hand qualify and make sure they will end in the top 2 of this year's IPL.
After a terrific maiden IPL century from opener Shubman Gill and his partnership with Sai Sudharsan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar got SRH back in the hunt finishing with 5/30 as all the other 9 batters couldn't cross single digits. Titans were held for 188/9, a total which is easily chaseable on this surface.

Enters Mohammad Shami getting a wicket in the very first over repeating the feat achieved by Bhuvneshwar in the first innings. Yash Dayal (1/31) making a comeback after a long time complemented Shami well getting a wicket in the 2nd over of the match with Shami striking twice again inside the powerplay, the score being 45/4 after 6.
Mohit Sharma struck the very first ball and got 2 wickets in his first over as he was called right after the powerplay tonight. Heinrich Klaasen hammered the spinners and played the seamers cautiously and was the lone warrior in the chase scoring 64 in 44 balls but was sent back by Shami in the bowler's final over finishing with 4/21.
Noor Ahmad (0/35 in 2.5) was taken to the cleaners and was also forced to walk off the field getting hit on the shin. Rashid was seen off by the batters not conceding a wicket to any spinner. Bhuvneshwar Kumar formed a 68-run partnership with Klaasen but the required rate was kept well beyond the reach.
