That's it from what was a clinical display from the Chennai Super Kings in Chennai as SRH will have a lot of work to do going forward. Do join us tomorrow for a Super Saturday double header as the IPL heats up now in the coming days. Lots of action coming your way.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ninaad Dixit and Hitesh Peddurwar alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Ravindra Jadeja (Player of the Match): "Whenever I visit Chennai and watch the conditions, I feel happy that the ball will turn. The boundaries are bigger as well. The ball turns more when you hit the deck hard on practice wickets. That's why I bowled wicket to wicket.

Dhoni will always be stumping. He is still dedicated with his batting. Encourages the players well. His continuity is amazing and he can still play longer. CSK fans always support us. No matter the result, they always come here. I am sure all the 7 games will be house full fixtures here."
MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings Captain): "Well I think it's my last phase of my career and I am enjoying my cricket. Good to be here and playing in Chennai. They give a lot of adulation and I am not complaining about not batting.

Pathirana has got good pace and line and length and has been the find for us. I am happy for him. I was quite hesitant of batting second. Dew was not there, but the spinners bowled well and the pacers came back well especially Pathirana. The middle overs is what we set it up.

I tell them the first preference is with you and then I will suggest. With Bravo it was not easy, but these guys just agree with my thoughts. They did not give me the best catch. It was not an easy catch.

When you get old, you draw on your experience and unless you are Sachin Pajji. I am old and I can't shy away from it. Happy to get the win."
Active Catch of the Match: Ruturaj Gaikwad
Longest Six Hit in the Match: Rahul Tripathi (76m)
Most Fours Hit in the Match: Devon Conway
Most Valuable Asset of the Match: Devon Conway
Game Changer of the Match: Devon Conway
Electric Striker of the Match: Harry Brook
23:04 IST| Time for the post-match presentation ceremony...
Ravindra Jadeja is the player of the match.
Devon Conway (Chennai Super Kings): "I think the plan for us is pretty simple. We just try to play good shots in the powerplay and build the partnership upfront. That's the recipe we look to repeat. Certainly got easier to bat later, not the easiest but we got it better.

The pitch we experienced at Bengaluru was slightly better than this. You know you don't need to be reckless and bat according to the score you are chasing."
Aiden Markram(Sunrisers Hyderabad Skipper): "Yeah it's never nice to lose. We failed as a batting ground as we failed to put up a partnership. Certainly, it was not a 130 wicket it was an above 160 total. As I said we failed to put up the partnership and lost momentum. We knew their spinners will play a huge role, it was more about everyone executing the plans. Yeah, the guys have their plans but we weren't able to execute them tonight.

It's about the boys, they need to take on the bowlers in the powerplay. We need to get some wins under the belt now. We will have to look at how to come together as a batting group. Really proud of how the bowlers stuck and took this game deep.  Few guys need to put up their hands, hopefully, we can get it right in the next game."
10:50 PM IST: Moeen Ali hits the winning runs as Chennai Super Kings win this game by 7 wickets with 8 balls to spare. A dominant display by the Men in Yellow as they outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game. CSK notch up their 4th win while SRH lose their 4th game this season.

Chasing 135 for the win, CSK got off to a solid start courtesy of their openers Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad. The duo put on 87 for the first wicket inside 11 overs. Gaikwad was unfortunately run out for 35 off 30 balls. But Devon Conway was the real star as he remained unbeaten on 77* off 57 balls and carried his bat in the end. Rahane and Rayudu fell for 9 each while Moeen Ali stayed unbeaten on 6* and hit the winning runs. They won comfortably in the end.

SRH bowlers were blown away in the powerplay as CSK scored 60 in 6 overs. Mayank Markande was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/23 in 4 overs. The rest were wicketless while Gaikwad was run out. It was a tough day in the office for the Orange Army.

Earlier in the game, Sunrisers Hyderabad never got going after the initial overs. Abhishek Sharma looked good for his 34 off 26 balls. Harry Brook scored 18 off 13 balls. Rahul Tripathi scored 21 off 21 balls. The skipper Aiden Markram scored 12. Heinrich Klaasen scored 17 off 16 balls. Marco Jansen's unbeaten 17* off 22 balls got the score past 130 as they crawled their way to 134/7 in 20 overs.

Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers for the Chennai Super Kings as he ended with exceptional figures of 3/22 in 4 overs. He was ably supported by Pathirana who ended with 1/22 in 4 overs. Maheesh Theekshana was good in his spell of 1/27 in 4 overs. Akash Singh got a wicket as well as he finished with 1/17 in 3 overs. Moeen Ali and Tushar Deshpande ended wicketless.

So, the Chennai Super Kings wins their 4th game in 6 matches and consolidate their third place in the points table. SRH stays at the bottom half of the table and it's back to the drawing board for them. SRH remains winless at Chepauk.

Stick around for the presentation ceremony coming your way soon.
