That's it from another last over finish in the Indian Premier League as Sunrisers Hyderabad defend the biggest total of the season. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Arijit Kundu, Akshaya Krishna Polya and scorer Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Harry Brook (Player of the Match): "It was a special night and thankfully we go over the line as well. It got a little bit tensed in the middle there but its good to be on the winning side tonight.

A lot of people say opening the batting in T20 is the best time to bat. You only have 2 fielders out so but I'm happy to bat anywhere. Batted in the Tests at 5 and quite probably batted at 5 in T20 cricket also but I'm happy to do whatever the team needs.

Unfortunately my 4 Test hundreds have to be above this one but its definitely up there and the crowd tonight was phenomenal. Those balls I faced against Chakaravarthy and the crowd was going mental so its good to be playing in front of such a great stadium and great fans tonight so I enjoyed it.

I was put under pressure by myself after a first few games. Being on social media, people calling you rubbish and you slightly start to doubt yourself a little bit but I just went out there with a 'I don't care' mentality tonight and thankfully it came off.

There are a lot of Indian fans out there who probably gonna be saying 'well done' tonight but they were slagging me off a few days ago so I'm glad that I was able to shut them up to be honest."
Harry Brook is the player of the match.
Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Thanks, Harsha. It is great to win away from home. The total was not safe. It was a tough game but hats off to the bowlers to help us get over the line. The field is slightly smaller and the outfield is quick. All the players gave their best and played with intent. Yeah, suppose we got off to a great start and played with freedom. We bat deep and that's the result of the impact players.

I think it worked quite well. We know that Harry is a great talent. He hits good cricket shots in the powerplay and can take us deep. He is Mr reliable for sure. It was a tough wicket as a bowler and kudos to him for keeping it tight. It's a great bunch of fellows. There is an extra bit of banter. It's cricket at the end of the day, teaches you a lesson. It's great to be the captain of the team and end up with a win."
Active Catch of the Match: Glenn Phillips (Substitute fielder) for taking the catch of N Jagadeesan.
Longest Six Hit in the Match: Abhishek Sharma (96m)
Most Fours Hit in the Match: Harry Brook
Most Valuable Asset of the Match: Harry Brook
Game Changer of the Match: Harry Brook
Electric Striker of the Match: Aiden Markram
11:29 PM IST | Time for the post-match presentations...
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (Sunrisers Hyderabad): "Ahh... First of all, to start, we wanted to pick early wickets and that is the way we could have stopped them. When you are defending the totals, you need to pick early wickets. In the final over of the powerplay, they took on our bowler and scored a few quick runs which kept the game hanging in balance. But we came back well to restrict them.

I am not a big fan of bowling slower balls but that is what the game needs nowadays. I just tried to bowl according to the situation, according to the batters how they reacted to my previous deliveries, seeing the dimensions and putting them in the right areas.

Just go to him (on asking about Umran Malik's second over after going for plenty in his first over). He is a fiery pace bowler and can be a game-changer. One shouldn't confuse him, you should allow the youngster to bowl good deliveries by backing him.

I think the pitch is a bad one for the bowlers, haha! Of course, it is an excellent one for the batters! Harry Brook is a class apart. Good to see the team management persist with him and ask him to open the batting for us."
Nitish Rana (Kolkata Knight Riders Captain): "Thank you sir, thank you!! We didn't bowl according to our plans. The total was a bit too much. We could have bowled a bit better. It is well known that it is not practically possible to do every day what Rinku did in the last match.

We tried to take the match to the deep. I tried to hang around from one end and take the innings deep. Whenever I got the opportunity, I tried to hit the odd balls. Regarding home advantages, we are aware that the Eden Gardens pitch behaves in such a way. We were prepared for 200 runs. If your main bowler goes for a lot of runs, you cannot do anything. There will be a lot of matches when this bowler will only win matches for me. It would've been more entertaining if we had got the two points."
11:14 PM IST: A magnificent century from Harry Brook in the first innings followed by a tremendous teamwork from the bowlers have given Sunrisers Hyderabad their second victory of the season as they defeat Kolkata Knight Riders by 23 runs.

A quick recap to the game as KKR won the toss and elected to bowl first looking at the dew factor. Opener Harry Brook rode on his luck and scored the first ever century of the season finishing at 100 in 55 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes.

SRH skipper Aiden Markram slammed a swashbuckling fifty batting at the other end. The partnership between Brook and Markram was worth 72 for the third wicket, and the latter was out straightaway after his 4th IPL fifty, giving Varun Chakravarthy his first wicket of the match.
Brook smashed 23 runs off one Lockie Ferguson over added 72 runs for the 4th wicket with Abhishek Sharma.

Abhishek was dismissed in the penultimate over with Heinrich Klaasen scoring an unbeaten 16 off just 6 balls resulting in Hyderabad scoring this year's biggest total so far, 228/4. They also have the lowest total of the season to their name.

For KKR, Andre Russell was the pick of the bowler with 3/22 but he walked off the field twice. Sunil Narine was economic with 0/28. Varun Chakravarthy picked up a wicket but was expensive and so were the other KKR bowlers as indicated by the score.

Defending the biggest total of the season so far, the Sunrisers bowlers started off well getting rid of Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the third ball of the innings without conceding a run. Left arm seamer Marco Jansen was brilliant yet again and was on a hattrick sending impact player Venkatesh Iyer and pinch hitter Sunil Narine on consecutive deliveries.

Skipper Nitish Rana arrived with intent and belief and smashed 28 runs off Umran Malik's first over adding 62 runs with N Jagadeesan who was positive as well in his 21 ball innings comprising of 5 fours and a six opening the batting.

He was sent back by Mayank Markande in the 9th over sending Andre Russell in the middle who was suffering from a calf injury and walked off the field twice in the first innings. Last game's hero Rinku Singh then joined the skipper in the middle as the scoring rate declined thanks to some tight bowling from Markande, Sundar, Natarajan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Marco Jansen (2/37) was the stand out bowler but made some errors in the 16th over bowling a no ball and getting hit for sixes on the erroneous delivery and the free hit that followed leaving the pair of Rinku and Nitish to score 70 runs in the final 4 overs.

T Natarajan was brought back in the attack and bowled a pretty decent over getting rid of Nitish Rana thanks to a spectacular catch from Washington breaking the 69 run stand and taking the equation down to 58 in 3 overs. The next over bowled by Bhuvneshwar fetched 10 runs with the senior pro finishing with an economic 1/29.

Shardul Thakur holed out in the penultimate over bowled by Natarajan again and all hopes were lost for a KKR victory. Umran Malik who conceded 28 runs in his single over against Rana was tasked to bowl the final over and chipped in with a wicket conceding just 8 runs.

Rinku got to his half century and finished unbeaten at 58 in 31 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes but his effort wasn't enough to chase the mammoth total as Mayank Markande (2/27) and the other bowlers put the brakes on the attacking batters.

200 is up for KKR. That is why 200 or 210 is not a safe score nowadays!
19.5 U Malik to R Singh
6 SIX RUNS!! 200 up for KKR! Back of length again and outside the off stump. Rinku shuffles across, swings hard getting a top edge high and long over backward square for a maximum.
