So, that's it from this game. We will be back with more cricketing actions across the globe in our network. Until next time, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Ashleigh Gardner (Player of the Match): "Yes, it's probably the game I have been searching for. I have been inconsistent. To put the team in the winning position with Wolvaardt, and then with the ball we were clinical. Yes. that was the plan. Play yourself in and take it deep. We can cash in later here in India. Yes, I enjoyed myself bowling. Spin will come into play as the game progresses. The pitches will wear off and so my role or any spinner's role will be important going forward. Thank You very much."
Player of the Match: Ashleigh Gardner
Sneh Rana (Gujarat Giants Women Skipper): "Smile is always there. We talked about earlier that 150 was a par score on this ground keeping in mind the conditions. Lanning's was a big wicket and it helped us get back in the game. The momentum was in our favor and two wickets in that over changed the game. Whoever contributes to the team, is a good sign. We talked about having two partnerships and we executed them perfectly. Everyone was in a positive mindset and when we were bowling in warm-ups, everyone was excited. Well done to the girls."
Powerful Striker of the Match: Alice Capsey
Kim Garth (Gujarat Giants Women): "It was kind of weird. A couple of run outs really helped us. We have been playing well in the tournament and are happy to get across the line tonight. We have been working really hard. It's quite challenging to bring players from different countries and play together. But we gelled well with the ball tonight. We saw 200+ was a par score at the start of the tournament but I feel 160 is a par score now. The pitches are getting tired a bit. I was complaining at the start of the tournament but happy to contribute now. All teams are still in contention to qualify for the Eliminator and it is shaping up nicely."
Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Women Skipper): "We felt if we could bat out the overs, we would get across the line. The Giants bowled well but we played some poor shots and also a couple of run outs. It was a frustrating game. Our bowlers did an excellent job. We didn't pick regular wickets but made sure that they score runs. It is a good learning opportunity for us. My shot to get out was very poor. You have to play straight and also a couple of run outs resulted in us losing the game. We talked about Harleen and how she can bowl offies and leggies but she bowled well tonight. It's been a pretty hectic tournament so far and maybe some players will rest tomorrow."
10:37 PM IST: A terrific game comes to an end here in Mumbai and it is the Gujarat Giants who have held their nerves defending a small total to win by 11 runs to climb back to 4th in the points table. Delhi loses their second game while the Giants wins their 2nd game of the season. A superb bowling and fielding effort from Sneh Rana and her girls.

Chasing a gettable target of 148 for the win, the Capitals never got going as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Shafali Verma went early. Skipper Meg Lanning scored 18. Alice Capsey looked good for her 22 off 11 balls before she was run out. Marizanne Kapp played well for her 36 off 29 balls but did not get support at the other end. Arundhati Reddy tried her best with her 25 off 17 balls alongside Shikha Pandey who was unbeaten on 8*, but it was a bridge too far as Delhi Capitals were bowled out for 136 in 18.4 overs. 12 extras were given by the fielding side.

Kim Garth was magnificent as she picked up a couple of wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs. Kanwar picked up a couple of wickets as well. Ashleigh Gardner came to the party with the ball as she got a couple of wickets for 19 runs in 3.4 overs. A wicket apiece for Sneh Rana and Harleen Deol as well.

Earlier in the game, Gujarat Giants lost Sophia Dunkley early for 4 runs. Laura Wolvaardt and Harleen Deol played well and built up a good partnership between themselves. Deol scored 31 off 33 balls. Wolvaardt played well for her 57 off 45 balls. Ashleigh Gardner came to the party with the bat alongside Wolvaardt and remained unbeaten on 51* off 33 balls as they posted a competitive 147/4 in 20 overs. Just 3 extras were given by the fielding side.

Jess Jonassen picked up a couple of wickets but went for 38 runs in her 4 overs. Marizanne Kapp bowled an economical spell of 1/24 in 4 overs. Arundhati Reddy was the other wicket-taker for the Capitals.

It was a great game of cricket and the Gujarat Giants went out winners as they held their nerves to win by 11 runs to get into 4th place in the points table. The Capitals are yet to make it into the playoffs. Stick around for the presentation ceremony that comes your way now.
18.4 A Gardner to P Yadav
W GONE. Gardner strikes and the Giants clinch the game by 11 runs. Gardner bowls a quicker off-break on this occasion on the stumps, Yadav steps out of the crease and looks to swing it into the leg side but gets it off the inside half of the bat and Hemalatha at mid wicket takes a simple catch. Disbelief in the Giants' camp as they fall short of the target and lose their second game of the competition.
18.3 A Gardner to P Yadav
0 Flighted delivery around off, Yadav defends it straight back to the bowler.
18.2 A Gardner to P Yadav
0 Turning in on the pads, Yadav misses the flick and wears it high on the front pad. Dot ball.
18.1 A Gardner to S Pandey
1 Fuller delivery around off, Pandey pushes at it and gets an inside edge in the leg side for a single.
13 needed off 12 balls with just a wicket in hand. This is Gujarat's game to lose now.

17.6 K Garth to A Reddy
W WICKET!!!! Garth strikes and Reddy departs. Bowls a good length delivery around off, Reddy stands still and looks to hit it over mid off but doesn't get it off the middle of the bat. Miscues it completely and Rana at covers takes a good catch under pressure. It was a cross-seam delivery from Garth and she strikes on the final ball of her spell.
17.5 K Garth to S Pandey
1 A leg cutter from Garth on the stumps, Pandey drops the ball in the on side and sneaks a quick run. Smart cricket from Pandey here.
