So, that is all from today's coverage of the WPL. Another one-sided affair when Mumbai Indians are at one end of the contest. They're crowned at the top of the table at the moment with two gigantic wins. We hope you enjoyed our input. So, time to bid adios, Arijit Kundu signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya, and scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh.
Hayley Matthews: "Yeah, I don't think there was a difference in the approach. I just batted a bit longer than in the previous game. Thanks to Mumbai Indians management to get me an opportunity to have bat in the top order. I enjoy the freedom I get here. I watched the ball well and it was coming nicely. It was tough to bowl to two top-quality batters; Smriti and Devine. They are classy players. I did well to comeback. No, Harmanpreet Kaur isn't putting any pressure on me, haha. Always happy to be playing for this team. Nice environment to be in."
Player of the Match and Orange Cap: Hayley Matthews
Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians Women captain): "I think, batting was the same, and the bowling we did on the first game was much better than today. Fortunately, we managed to get the two breakthroughs. We wanted to back ourselves. We wanted to chase and that's the good thing to get what we desired. I am really happy that everyone on the team was happy with themselves. Sometimes, it happens in T20. We tried to give the extra minute to set the field and that's what happened today."
Powerful Striker of the Match: Kanika Ahuja
10:45 PM IST | Time for post-match presentations...
Smriti Mandhana (Royal Challengers Bangalore Women Captain): "Yeah definitely. I think we would have loved to put more runs on the board on this batting wicket. We were below par tonight. We will comeback stronger. Yeah definitely, I think a few batters got into the 20s including me but couldn't bat on for longer periods. We need to bat long once we were set which we will do in the upcoming games. If any one of those batters was there till the 18th over, we would have ended on a decent score. No, we had enough bowlers. 6-7 options are enough for us. We didn't have enough on the board and we were poor on the field as well. It is a very short tournament. Once you start winning, you can be on a roll. That is what we hope. Kanika and Shreyanka were brilliant with the bat. Those were the positives for us. We are happy with their batting as they stopped the collapse. We will be back stronger as a team."
10:30 PM IST | A comprehensive victory for Mumbai Indians (MI) Women and it's not the first time that they ended up with sheer dominance

A century-run stand between Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt eased MI to reach the target with a plethora of overs in hand. It started off with Yastika Bhatia and Matthews who were right on track for the chase from the initials of the innings. They were 54-1 at the end of the powerplay with the loss of Yastika Bhatia. The left-hander played some fancy shots and went out scoring 23 runs off 19 balls.

Matthews continued with the momentum and notched her first fifty of the WPL. It wasn't just the Caribbean player but Nat Sciver-Brunt too notched up her maiden half-century of the ongoing league. Both batters played the field very well. They found the gaps with ease and the sloppy fielding assisted their cause.

They orchestrated the innings with beautiful fours and sixes, helping the Mumbai-based franchise cross the finishing line with 34 balls in hand.

Matthews ended with scores of 77* off 38 balls and was the top run-getter for her side. Sciver was unbridled with her at 55* from 29 balls. Preeti Bose was the only wicket-taker for them.

Earlier in the game, RCB had won the toss and elected to bat first. The decision seemed to backfire for them as the MI bowlers meant business. Hayley Matthews was introduced into the attack for the first over as a match-up against Smriti Mandhana but it yielded fruits for MI in her second over. Sophie Devine was the first one to go as Saika Ishaque drew the first blood. She also cleaned up Disha Kasat in the same over.

Heather Knight went dismissed for a golden duck and RCB was curtailed to 43-4. There was a short partnership between Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh but a mixup led to the latter's dismissal. The lower order including Richa Ghosh, Kanika Ahuja, Shreyanka Patil, and Megan Schutt reached the 20s mark but failed to convert it. Amelia Kerr's two-wicket in the 19th over sealed the deal for RCB and ended their tally to 155.

We will be back with the post-match presentations!
14.2 E Perry to N Sciver
4 FOURRR!! SCIVER-BRUNT FINISHES OFF IN STYLE. This is the second win for MI. Back of a length around the off-stump. Sciver-Brunt pulls it in between mid-on and mid-wicket for four to put the final nail in the RCB coffin.
14.1 E Perry to N Sciver
4 FOURRR!! Over the wicket. Back of a length and outside the off. Sciver-Brunt slaps it in the gap between mid-off and extra covers for a cracking four. Just 1 needed for MI. Fifty for Sciver-Brunt!
Perry is back in the attack.
