That's it from a wonderful attacking display from the Invincibles skipper. Some good supporting acts and a complete team performance have put his team into the finals. Its time to say good bye from our team that brought you the coverage of this match. Here's Akshay Bhide, scorer Zeeshan Naiyer and myself Ninaad Dixit signing off. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Sam Billings (Oval Invincibles Skipper and Hero of the Match): “To be honest, it’s been a long summer personally. So it was nice to get some runs. Not the ideal situation to come in to bat but happy to contribute. I was trying too hard and I was putting myself under pressure.

Big boots to fill. Heinrich Klaasen is a world-class player and he had to leave. So somebody had to step up and I got some runs tonight. But, to be honest with you, everyone out there in the dressing room has contributed to wins.

Really enjoyable to keep wickets against Atkinson and Johnson. Atkinson has gone from strength to strength since getting a national call-up. Spencer is also great. Unfortunately, he is not English but delighted to keep wickets."

Hero of the Match: Sam Billings

1:31 AM IST, 9:01 PM Local time: The Oval Invincibles have registered themselves into the finals of the men's Hundred competition with a thumping 5-wicket win over the Trent Rockets at the Oval.

Skipper Sam Billings was the star of the show as the Invincibles lost wickets in quick succession to get under pressure chasing a total of 149 which was put up by the Rockets with some help from the pair of Colin Munro and Lewis Gregory in the first innings.

Chasing the easy looking total, Jason Roy had majority of strike scoring 19 off the initial 21 runs but he picked up Joe Root at deep midwicket playing a sweetly timed lofted stroke to be the first man out to Luke Wood.

Daniel Sams introduced next picked up Tawanda Muyeye and Sam Curran off consecutive deliveries to bring up the team hattrick as the hosts went down to 21/3 from 21/0 in the space of 3 balls.

Will Jacks and Sam Billings then added 73 runs in 40 balls with Jacks hitting 31 in 22 with 3 massive sixes and a boundary. Jimmy Neesham playing the first match of the season couldn't do much with the bat and was out to Matthew Carter for 4.

Sam Billings continued playing the aggressive and calculative brand of cricket going past his 50 in just 27 balls. Tom Curran at number 7 fired in from the other end in his unbeaten score of 18 in 10 balls which involved three fours.

With 5 required in 10 balls, Billings smashed a four and then a six to take his team to victory with 8 balls to spare. He finished his unbeaten knock at 76 in just 40 balls hitting five fours and as many sixes all over the park.

Daniel Sams (2/38) started out well but was taken to the cleaners along with the other bowlers later in the innings. Luke Wood (1/20), Carter (1/21) and Sam Cook (1/22) saw success with the ball but their effort wasn't enough to contain the total.

Oval Invincibles with this thumping win now have 13 points with six wins and have qualified for the final to be played on Sunday at Lord's.

6 SIX RUNS! Billings finishes off in style and takes the Invincibles to the finals! A good length flighted delivery on the off stump at 57 mph. Billings charges down the track to get to the pitch of the ball and gives it a whack across the line. Connects to perfection as he has done all through the innings and deposits this over the midwicket boundary into the crowd! Invincibles win by 5 wickets!
91b I Sodhi to T Curran

83b L Gregory to T Curran
0 Gregory follows up with a bouncer around off, Curran shuffles across the stumps and looks to pull it over fine leg but misses.
82b L Gregory to T Curran
4 FOUR MORE!! Reminds me of Yuvraj Singh from not too much years ago! A short delivery outside the off stump. Curran waits behind in the crease and pulls this in front of square. Usess his wrists to great effect finding the gap to the left of deep midwicket.
81b L Gregory to T Curran
4 FOUR RUNS!! Tom Curran is in a hurry! Over the wicket bowls Gregory. Good length outside the off stump, no pace on the ball as it clocks 73 mph. Curran doesn't move much of his feet and whips this through the vacant extra cover region. Plays in the air and in the gap between cover and long off.
