Milestone
That concludes our coverage as well. Trent Rockets win by 46 runs to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. It's time to bid adieu to this game.

I, Deepak Prakash am signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee, and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Matt Carter (Match Hero): "Yes, I mean we worked hard in training for scenarios like that and we nailed it out there. Practising hard and hopefully it works. Not sure about that. I think the wicket that played enabled me to play the way I did and we kept it simple. You got to target the stumps and we did that. The fielding was outstanding. The other day we spoke about improving our fielding and we did that. The crowds have been massive for us and have helped us a lot to win games. The number is quiet high and we have done well. We have to control the controlables and see how it goes. Can't concentrate on other teams and their fate. Looking forward to the upcoming games."
9:44 PM IST, 5:14 PM Local Time | Deepak: A comprehensive victory for Trent Rockets as they thumped the visitors Birmingham Phoenix by 46 runs to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Trent Rockets posted 162/6 at the end of their 100-ball quota. They lost Joe Root cheaply for 8 runs, but Alex Hales provided a solid start and contributed 27 runs off 14 balls. Sam Hain and Colin Munro chipped in with 30 and 34 runs, respectively, while Daniel Sams' (20) and Lewis Gregory’s (18*) short cameos at the cue end of the innings have helped the Rockets post a formidable total. Adam Milne bagged a couple of wickets for the Phoenix, while Chris Woakes, Kane Richardson, Benny Howell, and Moeen Ali celebrated a solitary wicket.

In pursuit of the Rockets’ 162 runs, Phoenix got off to a shaky start as they lost Will Smeed (15 off 8) and Ben Duckett (4 off 7) in the powerplay. Jamie Smith and Liam Livingstone started building the partnership, but the latter failed to find his rhythm and struggled to score runs. On the other hand, Smith got into his groove from the word go and scored at a rapid pace to keep the run rate in check. Livingstone continued to struggle and departed for 9 runs off 15 balls.

Following the wicket of Livingstone, the Phoenix lost a few wickets in a jiffy, which included the wicket of in-form batter Smith, who departed for 38 runs. Wickets kept tumbling for the Phoenix, and eventually, they were restricted to 116/9 at the end of 100 balls, falling 46 runs short of the target.

On the bowling front, Daniel Sams bagged three wickets for the Rockets. Matthew Carter chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Luke Wood, Sam Cook, and Ish Sodhi contributed one wicket.

The third umpire is referred to check the fairness of the catch. The third umpire is checking from different angles. There is no conclusive footage and the third umpire is still trying to find it from different angles. Alright, the verdict has come and it's OUT on the giant screen.
96b D Sams to K Richardson
W WICKET! Slower ball into the pitch, Richardson goes for the big one and gets the height and not the distance. The fielder makes good ground at the midwicket region and takes a good catch diving full length at the ground. Well, the umpires will have another look at it. Is this a clean catch? The TV umpire is taking his sweet time in making the decision and checking various angles. After ages, the decision is OUT.
