That concludes our coverage as well. Thank you for staying with us I hope you enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!
Usama Mir (Hero of the Match): "Yeah, I am quite happy with my performance. I am working hard on my batting, and I back myself to play my shots. I tried to mix things up while bowling and give match-winning performances. Keep it a bit two-paced and happy for the success. The first two games didn't happen probably, this is my first appearance here. After two seasons of merely being a spectator via the television, the experience of being here in Manchester is simply fantastic. "
1:46 AM IST, 9:17 PM Local Time | Deepak: A comprehensive victory for Manchester Originals as they outplayed Birmingham Phoenix and thump them by a margin of 49 runs. A poor batting display by Birmingham Phoenix as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and are bundled out for a mere 111 runs.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Manchester Originals posted 160/8 in their 100-ball quota. Their innings was anchored by skipper Jos Buttler, who scored 43 runs off 33 balls and laid the foundation for the upcoming batters, and it was Usama Mir who wreaked havoc with the bat at the cue end of the innings and helped the Originals touch the 160-run mark with his blistering 32 runs off just 14 balls. Benny Howell shone with the ball and bagged three wickets for the Birmingham Phoenix, Adam Milne chipped in with a couple of wickets, and Tom Helm contributed one wicket.

In pursuit of Originals' hefty 160 runs, Birmingham Phoenix got off to a shaky start as they lost Will Smeed (8 off 9), Ben Duckett (10 off 6), and Moeen Ali (1 off 2) in a jiffy and were reeling at 21/3 after 21 balls.

Liam Livingstone (27 off 25) and Jamie Smith started the rescue operation for the Phoenix but their progress was halted by Paul Walter, who trapped Smith for 15 runs and ceased the budding partnership. Following the wicket of Smith, Phoenix triggered a collapse and kept losing wickets a regular intervals and eventually were bundled out for a mere 111 runs, falling 49 runs short of the target.

Tom Hartley was the standout bowler for the Originals, as he bagged three wickets. Joshua Little, Richard Gleeson, and Usama Mir shared a couple of wickets, while Paul Walter contributed one wicket to Phoenix's downfall.

W WICKET! BOWLED'EM!! Length delivery a shade outside off. Milne plants his foot and hoicks across the line of the ball but gets the thick inside edge of the bat on it and drags the ball back on the stumps. The off-stump is uprooted from the groove. A comprehensive victory for Manchester Originals as they defeat Birmingham Phoenix by 49 runs.
