That’s a wrap from our side as well. It was a dominant performance by the Pretoria Capitals, who restricted the Paarl Royals to 124 runs, securing their place in the final of the SA T20 League. The skillful bowling of the Capitals was the key to their victory, and their fielders also played a crucial role with some spectacular catches.

We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌✌
Theunis de Bruyn (Pretoria Capitals Skipper): "Very pleased; these kinds of victories help the team become closer. There won't be as many runs, which keeps the game intriguing because only one team can win on a 220 wicket. Because of their expertise in the middle order, they were constantly under pressure to perform. Our engine room is responsible for bringing you a trophy. They have been excellent. There is still one game left, as you mentioned, and it's crucial for the team to provide another outstanding performance. It is progressing day by day. It's important to remain composed, and if things go our way, they go our way."
Rilee Rossouw (Player of the Match): "It was always the plan with two left-handed batters in the middle. I guess I have to bowl in the semi-finals and take the team to the final. It was a two-pace wicket. The ball was jagging off the length and we decided to take it deep. In pressure situations and in knockout games like these, 153 is like 160 and the guys bowled well to defend it."
Player of the Match: Rilee Rossouw
David Miller (Paarl Royals Skipper): "I think we bowled really well. There were one or two overs that went for runs but that happens in T20 cricket. But we kept losing wickets and really disappointed with this loss. The wicket was a bit tacky. They batted really well upfront but I feel 145 was a par total. We bowled well but fell short in the end. We did well throughout the competition. Don't think we hit the straps and took game by game. Three teams were on 19 points but it was a great tournament."
1:23 AM IST | Deepak: We have the first finalist of the inaugural SA T20 league now, Pretoria Capitals storms into the finals with a comprehensive 29 runs victory over Paarl Royals. 🙌🙌

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, the Pretoria Capitals posted 153 runs in 20 overs. Their inning was anchored by the masterclass inning of Rilee Rossouw, who amassed 56 runs and helped his side post a formidable 153-run total from a daunting situation. On the flip side, Andile Phehlukwayo was the pick of the bowlers for the Paarl Royals, as he scalped three wickets and gave away 29 runs in 4 overs.

The Royals were chasing a formidable target of 153 runs set by the Capitals, but their innings got off to a disastrous start with the early dismissal of Jason Roy for a duck. Jos Buttler, who came out to bat at number three, was also unable to leave a significant impact and departed for a mere 13 runs.

Paul Stirling and Dane Vilas provided some hope for the Royals with a brisk start, but their partnership was cut short when Stirling was dismissed after scoring a quick 21 runs off 14 balls. Vilas was soon to follow, clean-bowled by Adil Rashid's brilliant wrong'un ball in the 9th over. The Royals lost a couple more wickets and found themselves in a precarious position at 90/6 in the 14th over.

David Miller and Andile Phehlukwayo attempted to mount a comeback, but their efforts were cut short when Phehlukwayo was sent back to the pavilion for 14 runs off 13 balls. With 30 runs required off the final 15 balls, Miller was the last hope for the Royals, but he failed to seal the game for his side and was dismissed for 30 runs in the penultimate over. The Royals were eventually bundled out for 124 runs in 19 overs, falling short by 29 runs.

The Pretoria Capitals were in top form, with Eathan Bosch, Anrich Nortje, Adil Rashid, and James Neesham each sharing a couple of wickets. Migael Pretorius and Rilee Rossouw also made valuable contributions, picking up a wicket each to help the Capitals secure their place in the final of the SA T20 League.

In conclusion, it was a dominant performance by the Pretoria Capitals, who restricted the Paarl Royals to 124 runs, securing their place in the final of the SA T20 League. The skillful bowling of the Capitals was the key to their victory, and their fielders also played a crucial role with some spectacular catches. The Royals will rue their missed opportunities, but they can be proud of their efforts and will look to come back stronger in the next edition of the tournament.

Stick around for the post-match presentation..

W That's it. Another terrific catch and the Capitals are through to the final of the SA20 2023. Nortje bowls it on a length on the stumps and Shamsi heaves it into the leg side but doesn't get it off the middle of the bat. Ingram at mid wicket flies to his left to take a fantastic catch. He was airborne while grabbing this one. The Paarl Royals have been knocked over on 124 as the Pretoria Capitals win the game by 29 runs.

Deepak: That is the match for the Capitals.
18.3 A Nortje to D Miller
W WICKET!!! Miller departs and that should be the game for the Capitals. This is an outstanding catch from Ingram. Length delivery on the stumps, Miller slogs it wide of long on and it looked like it would go the boundary but Ingram from long on sprints to his left and dives to take a stunning catch. He made it look so easy but had to make a lot of ground. Miller walks back to the pavilion after scoring 30.
18.2 A Nortje to D Miller
0 A slower delivery from Nortje outside off, Miller looks to slog it into the leg side but misses. Another dot ball.
18.1 A Nortje to D Miller
0 Nortje bowls it short on the stumps, Miller mistimes the pull towards long on. He denies the single here.
Deepak: 30 needed off the 12 balls. Can Killer Miller turn the tide of the game?👀 Nortje will bowl the penultimate over.
