So, that's it from this one-sided game and series which Bangladesh won 2-0. Both teams will head from Sylhet to Chattogram for a 3-match T20I series starting from Monday onwards. Do join us then and stick around to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorers/analysts Zeeshan Naiyer and Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Tamim Iqbal goes up and collects the trophy from BCB president Najmul Hasan. And now they pose for photographs and the celebrations begin in the Bangladesh camp. They deserve this win and they must celebrate through the course of the night.
Tamim Iqbal (Bangladesh Captain): "Yes. The way we played this whole series was great. The two batting performances that we did in the first two games and then today the fast bowlers the way they bowled. Hats off to them. I am proud of them and we have a good fast bowling set up now. Yes. Mehidy is a good option and we had all bases covered. We have to keep believing in ourselves and going forward we will improve as well.

Yes, the way we chased it down, sends a strong message to everyone. Litton was great and I supported him. Lots of positives for us. This wicket is a sporting wicket and going forward we want to play on these wickets to improve our skill sets. We love playing on these pitches and I am proud of the boys."
Mushfiqur Rahim (Player of the series): "Another series victory! It was amazing to see how well the boys all contributed. In the first two games, the circumstances were favourable, the top order performed well, and we were given opportunities to express ourselves. As an all-round player, you must contribute with both bat and gloves and should be pleased with your contribution."
Hasan Mahmud (Player of the Match): "Thank you. Very grateful to everyone. First time getting a fifer, I enjoyed it. This surface is more for fast bowlers and the conditions are like this. Allan Donald has helped us a lot. We are improving each and every day and bowling in the right lines and lengths and getting the success. I am happy with my performance."
Andrew Balbirnie (Ireland Captain): "We're quite disappointed. Do not assume that the cricket we have played over the previous three days is representative of the cricket we have played over the past two to three years. We did anticipate that spin would be a significant factor, but our batting defense fell short. We failed to adjust sufficiently.

We played well at the T20 World Cup in Australia, but we will need to improve significantly to compete there. Our batting has fallen short, but our fielding has been adequate."

Time for the presentation ceremony.
5:47 PM IST: This has been a thrashing from Bangladesh as they have swept Ireland aside by 10 wickets with 36.5 overs to spare. This is their first-ever 10-wicket win by Bangladesh against any side. They have outplayed the Irish in all the facets of the game and if not for the rain in the second ODI, this series would have been 3-0. So, Bangladesh wins this series 2-0.

Chasing a paltry target of 102 to make it 2-0, Bangladesh came out all guns blazing courtesy of their openers Tamim Iqbal and Litton Das. The skipper was the aggressor of the two initially as he took the attack to the opposition and did not give Ireland an inch. Litton took his time and then was the aggressor of the two as he finished with yet another half century. He remained unbeaten on 50* off 38 balls while the skipper was unbeaten on 41* off 41 balls. They got to the victory target in just 13.1 overs.

Nothing much to talk about for Ireland. They had a very low score to defend and all their bowlers were taken to the cleaners. They looked ineffective to say the least. They tried too hard and bowled the wrong lines and lengths and one cannot blame them after getting only 101 on the board.

Earlier in the game, Ireland shockingly decided to bat first after winning the toss and things went downhill from there against the Bangladeshi seamers who were superb with the ball. They lost wickets at regular intervals. Only Lorcan Tucker and Curtis Campher fought for them. Tucker scored 28 while Campher top scored with 36. The rest of them had single digits and were completely blown away. They folded for 28.1 overs for 101.

All the 10 wickets were taken by the Bangladeshi seamers. Hasan Mahmud was the pick of them as he started it and finished it off with 5/32 in 8.1 overs. He was ably supported by Taskin Ahmed who got 3 wickets for 26 runs in his 10 overs. Ebadot Hossain got a couple of wickets for 29 runs in 6 overs. The spinners bowled only 4 bowlers with Shakib Al Hasan not even bowling a single over. It was a day for the Bangladeshi seamers in Sylhet.

So, a clinical performance by Bangladesh as they win this game by 10 wickets with plenty to spare to take out the series 2-0. Stick around for the post-match presentations.
