And here they are. All the members of the Lahore Qalandars gather behind the Champions banner and lift the trophy. They are the champions for the second consecutive time.
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lahore Qalandars Captain):"Thanks to the all mighty Allah. To reach the finals and win is a credit to our management. Aqib bhai should be given a lot of credit and kept us as a family. Definitely, credit to them. We had the belief to fight till the end and win the tournament.
Agression and fast bowling is my agression part. Batting I backed myself and wanted to have Wiese as the finisher. Glad it worked out well. This win is dedicated to all the people of Pakistan and its forces. Thanks to everyone. The forces, army, all the stakeholders must be complimented as well."
The Champions medals is being given to the Lahore Qalandars.
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans captain): "Obviously, when its a final, there will be pressure. The ball was coming into the bat but we couldn't finish it at the end. Had we done that, things would've been sweeter.
Every teams were formidable. The way we performed has been good. People were underestimating our bowlers in the beginning, but hats off to the way they bowled in the tournament.
It would've been better if things would've been reversed and I would get the main trophy."
