Thatโ€™s a wrap from our side as well. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Amit Das and Scorer/Analyst Zeeshan Naiyer, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.โœŒโœŒ
Sarfaraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators Captain): "Will visit the doctor for an x-ray because I don't feel well right now(about his injured finger). We made a lot of errors in the field because of the type of combination we have and the wicket's appearance of difficulty. Fielding is a crucial topic. Our team is under pressure; despite making numerous errors today, we are glad to have succeeded. Peshawar now has six points and four more games. We will attempt to prevail in the remaining games and monitor the situation."
Martin Guptill (Player of the match): "They really made it difficult for us, got a solid hold of us, lost early wickets, and made it difficult to play attacking strokes early on, so I didn't have much of an option from that 15th over mark. We had a decent start from the first six overs, but we also lost wickets. With a day free until we play again in a couple of days, the boys will be on a high and hopefully get a final couple of points, giving us a lot of confidence."
It's time for the presentation.
Imad Wasim (Captain, Karachi Kings): "Guptill played really well, we have to sit and check what went wrong. We were not up to mark. Tactical mistakes we made, but sometimes we were unfortunate, unlucky, sorry to the fans for a disappointing season. I was injured. Would have to look at whether I can play the next game or not. Death bowling has been impressive, winning and losing part of the game.Looking forward to put up a fight against Lahore, we are up for it."
Md. Nawaz( Player, Quetta Gladiators): "Guptill showed his experience. Body doesn't feel well, back-to-back games you know. Again we are professional. We have to play. We as a team, thinking of what happened in the past, happened. We cant change. We have to move forward."
11:17 PM IST | Deepak: Goodness me, Quetta Gladiators have snatched the victory from Karachi Kings. A breathtaking inning of 86* from Martin Guptill has helped the Gladiators chase down 164 runs from a precarious situation. Take a bow, Mr. Guptill.๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Karachi Kings posted 164 runs in 20 overs, thanks to the scintillating innings of Adam Rossington, who scored 69 runs and helped his side post 164 runs. From the bowling front, Aimal Khan and Naseem Shah scalped a couple of wickets for the Gladiators.

In pursuit of the Kingsโ€™ 164 runs, the Gladiators got off to a decent start but lost their opener Omair Yousuf early as he departed for just 8 runs. Martin Guptill and Mohammad Nawaz started scoring at a brisk pace, but their progress was halted when Nawaz fell prey to Muhammad Musa and departed after scoring 15 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed failed to impress with the bat today and departed for a meager 4 runs, leaving his side in a spot of bother.

Quetta Gladiators lost a couple of more wickets and were reeling at 63/5 in the 10th over. Martin Guptill completed his half-century and started hammering the bowlers all around the corner. The right-handed batter smashed 24 runs off the 17th over and reduced the equation to 33 runs off the last 3 overs. Martin Guptill and Sarfaraz Ahmed turned the tide of the game and reduced the equation to 8 needed off the final over.

With 8 runs needed off the last over, Sarfaraz Ahmed sacrificed his wicket in the big mixup in the last over, but Dwaine Pretorius came and finished the game with one ball to spare.

From the bowling front, Tabraiz Shamsi scalped a couple of wickets for the Kings, while Aamer Yamin, Muhammad Musa, and James Fuller each contributed one wicket.

The Gladiators showed great character and resilience to come back from a difficult situation and win the game.

Stay tuned for the presentation....
19.5 A Yamin to D Pretorius
4 Quetta Gladiators all the way! Pretorius wins by 4 wickets with a ball to spare. Full toss, put away rightly so moving across the stumps over extra cover region.
19.4 A Yamin to D Pretorius
2 Yoker, not accurate, enough bat to deep square leg for two runs. One needed now.
19.3 A Yamin to D Pretorius
4 FOUR!!! Pretorius slashes it hard over point for a boundary. It looked like he was set from the dugout. Width given and punished away at the right time.
WICKET!! WICKET!! WICKET!! Is there another twist in the tale?
19.2 A Yamin to M Guptill
W Oh My Goodness!!! What a time to get a wicket. Yamin with the bat and now with the ball. Back of the length delivery, Guptill mistimed the shot and called for the run. And misunderstanding cost them a wicket there, they ran into each other. Saifi sacrifices his wicket here. Good call from the captain!
19.1 A Yamin to S Ahmed
1 Fuller around off, Saifi goes back and whips it away to dep mid wicket for a single.
8 needed off the final over.

Casual effort at mid-off and Amir is not happy.
