Milestone
That's all from our coverage as well. It was an excellent game for cricket enthusiasts as it kept the fans at the edge of their seats till the last over of the game. A total of 405 runs were scored in this game and all spectators were in for a treat today.

We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Amit Das and Scorer/Analyst Manish Bishnoi, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.โœŒโœŒโœŒ
Shadab Khan (Islamabad United Captain): "We wanted to bowl even though we lost the toss. Pindi's typical wicket. quite challenging to contain on this wicket. Our changing area was never chaotic. Azam poses a threat to spinners. He generally hits me against netting. He announced that he will end the game during the timeout. We wanted to play fearless. The failures will be accepted. I might give it my all for 90 or 100. So we must play shrewd cricket with a daring attitude."
Azam Khan (Player of the match): "It's all about practice. Tried in club games, worked here. Basically was trying to say him take singles, I will take down the spinners. Needed the shot from Asif, hats off to him. Took the pressure off straightaway."
Imad Wasim (Captain, Karachi Kings): "200 was a good score. Azam took the game away, bowling in death isn't going our way. Look some time you have to give credit to Azam as well. We gave runs in patches. We just got to seat and talk, we didn't execute as expected. Sad, and disappointed but that's how sports is. Life goes on."
11:10 PM IST | Deepak: Phew, the right-handed powerhouse Azam Khan's breathtaking 72* runs have helped Islamabad United chase down a mammoth 201 runs. Take a bow, Mr. Khan.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

After opting to bat first, the Karachi Kings posted a mammoth 201 runs in their allotted 20 overs. They were reeling at 53/3, then came the rescue act by the skipper Imad Wasim, who amassed his career-best 92 runs and remained unbeaten till the end, helping his side post 201 runs on the board. From the bowling front, Tom Curran scalped a couple of wickets for Islamabad United but was too expensive as he gave away 43 runs in 4 overs.

In pursuit of the Kingsโ€™ mammoth 201 runs, Islamabad United cleared their intent from the very first over, but the southpaw Colin Munro fell into the trap of the left-arm speedster Mohammad Amirโ€™s slower delivery and departed for 11 runs. Alex Hales and Rassie van der Dussen took responsibility for scoring at a brisk pace and started destroying the bowlers all around the corners. Everything was going according to plan for Islamabad United, but Alex Hales swung across the line of the ball in the last ball of the powerplay and threw away his wicket after scoring a quick 34 runs, and he was soon followed by Rassie van der Dussen, who departed after scoring 22 runs.

As Islamabad United found themselves in a spot of bother after losing two quick wickets, Faheem Ashraf and Azam Khan stepped up to the plate to steady the ship. But it was Azam Khan who truly stole the show. The right-handed dynamo wasted no time in unleashing his fury on the opposition bowlers, hammering them to all corners of the park with ease. In no time, he had completed a blazing half-century, taking just 29 deliveries to reach the milestone. Azam Khan's explosive batting breathed new life into Islamabad United's innings, and the equation was reduced to 42 runs off the last four overs.

Azam Khan and Faheem Ashraf had been nothing short of exceptional in their partnership, and with just 9 runs needed off 7 balls, it seemed like the game was in the bag for Islamabad United. However, fate had other plans, and in the last ball of the penultimate over, Faheem Ashraf sacrificed his wicket after a heroic knock of 41 runs. With the equation now reduced to just 8 runs off the last over, the tension was palpable. But Asif Ali had different plans. With nerves of steel, he took just two balls to finish the game off in style, securing a thrilling victory for his team with four balls to spare. It was a remarkable performance by Islamabad United, who had chased down an imposing total with sheer grit and determination. This game will go down in history as one of the most unforgettable matches of all time.

From the bowling front, Karachi Kings were below par with the ball today, and Mohammad Amir, Aamer Yamin, and Tabraiz Shamsi were the only bowlers to extract a wicket each for the Kings.

Stay tuned for the presentation....

18.6 A Tye to F Ashraf
1W Run out! Is there a twist in the tail? Was lazy in the first run, little bit of mixup ended in a run out. Full toss bowl slapped over covers, could have settled for a single.
Deepak: This is the perfect delivery to bowl in the slog overs, yorker around the tramline.
18.5 A Tye to F Ashraf
0 Dot to follow! Wide yorker, goes over the stumps off to keeper for no run.
18.4 A Tye to F Ashraf
2 Two runs taken off to brilliant save in the fence as Faheem sliced away the fuller length.
Deepak: Oh, you can't bowl full toss balls at this stage of the game.
18.3 A Tye to F Ashraf
6 SIXXXXX!!!! Freebie offered to a well set batter. He wont miss that. Slapped it over deep mid wicket into the crowd. 11 needed now.
DROPPED!! Oh dear, Shoaib Malik has dropped it, and also injured his left knee in this process. The physio is out in the middle. 17 needed off 10 balls now.
