That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and Scorer / Analyst Manish Bishnoi. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "Win is a win, therefore be content with it. On this field, the bowlers did a good job of following their game plans. We evaluated the circumstances and bowled appropriately. We formed the team in accordance with the circumstances. Rossouw performed admirably today. Dahani has always been our primary bowler, but the young bowlers were excellent."
Ihsanullah (Player of the Match): "Today I bowled well; Rizwan deserves the praise. I followed his advice today. Thanks to the fantastic pitch today, I was bowling well. I bowled in accordance with the bowling coach's directions."
Sarfaraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators Captain): "We tried to get off to a good start, but we couldn't. He bowled well, but Ihsanullah deserves praise for his outstanding bowling performance. Unfortunately, we were unable to carry out our intentions tonight. We must improve our batting, but we will undoubtedly recover. To be honest, we need to improve our fast bowling and bowl where it counts."
Rilee Rossouw: "My body feels terrific, and I am very much in cruise control. I'm doing pretty well. The umpires are my fortunate charm since they helped me when I finally scored a hundred last. Everyone enjoys this series and plays with passion. We are really respectful of one another. I should have another party when I make fifty because my kid enjoys it."
9:46 PM IST | Prince: Rossouw finishes the game in style. The home side Multan Sultans hammered Quetta Gladiators by 9 wickets with 39 balls to spare. A humiliating defeat for Quetta Gladiators in their opening match of the season.

Chasing a small target of 111 for the win, Mohammad Rizwan and  Shan Masood started for Multan Sultans. Nuwan Thushara sent Shan Masood in the first ball of the first over of his spell as he trapped him in front of the stump. Rilee Rossouw joined Mohammad Rizwan at no 3 and both batters takes responsibility and stabilized his side.

Mohammad Rizwan was good with his 28* off 34 balls. But it was the Rilee Rossouw show as he scored a brilliant 78* off 42 balls. Shan Masood scored 3 off 5 balls. Rilee Rossouw finished things off in style to win the game for his side. 2 extras were given by the fielding side as the chase was done and dusted in 13.3 overs.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Quetta Gladiators managed to post 110 runs in 20 overs. They got off to a shaky start as they scored 38 runs for loss of 3 wickets in the powerplay. Jason Roy(27 runs off 18 balls) was the top run-scorer for Quetta Gladiators, while Mohammad Hafeez scored 18(15).

From the bowling front, it was a sensational display of bowling by the home side especially, Ihsanullah who extracted 5 crucial wickets and was the show-stopper of the evening. Sameen Gul and Abbas Afridi chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Usama Mir contributed one wicket to the Gladiators' downfall.

A comprehensive win for Multan Sultans and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. On the other side, Quetta Gladiators need to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.
