Chasing a small target of 126 for the win, Comilla Victorians got off to a flying start as they posted 59 runs for loss of 3 wickets in 6 overs. Litton Das failed to impress with the bat today as he departed for 7(10). Sunil Narine swatted a quickfire 39(18) but his progress was cut short when Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled him.

Johnson Charles and skipper Imrul Kayes were next to bat but were not able to settle at the crease and send him back to the pavilion soon. Moeen Ali tried to contribute some quick runs but his efforts were halted when he departed for 21(13).

Comilla Victorians were tottering at 107/6 at 14.4 overs when Andre Russell joined Mosaddek Hossain at the crease and both stitched a much-needed partnership of 23 runs which helped Comilla Victorians to win this match. Andre Russel finished the match with a six.

Sunil Narine (39 off 18 balls) was the top run-scores, While Mosaddek Hossain scored Unbeaten 27 runs off 27 balls. On the flip side, Rubel Hossain was the pick of the bowler as he scalped 4 wickets, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Shafiqullah Ghafari extracted a solitary wicket each.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Sylhet Strikers managed to post a small score of 125 runs for a loss of 10 wickets in 17.1 overs against the strong bowling attack of Comilla Victorians. Najmul Hossain Shanto was the top contributor for Sylhet Strikers, as he scored 38 runs off 29 balls, while Mashrafe Mortaza swatted a quickfire of 26 off 17 balls and Mushfiqur Rahim scored 29 runs off 22 balls.

The Victorian bowlers did a great job today. Tanvir Islam was the pick of the bowler, gave away 30 runs in his 4 overs, and pocketed 2 wickets. Andre Russell picked up two wickets. Rahman scalped 2 wickets in his spell while Mukidul Islam and Moeen Ali celebrated with a wicket each.
