4:43 PM IST| Chattogram Challengers dominated the Dhaka Dominators as they won the match convincingly with a 15-run margin. Bowling effort made things possible for the Challengers as they came back from nowhere in the match.
Chattogram won the toss earlier in the match and choose to bat first. But they started off quietly. From the fifth over, they started losing out wickets at regular intervals, top order failed. Half of the side gone inside 7 overs for just 28 runs on the board.
Captain Hom was the last man to go. From there on, Usman Khan and Curtis Campher had a brief partnership of 41 runs. After that both of them departed quickly, Ziaur Rahman did the power-hitting job for them to take the score to a respectable position, he ended up scoring a crucial 34 not out off 20 balls including a last-ball six.
For Dhaka, it was as Arafat Sunny, he ran through their batting order picking up 4 wickets. In response, Soumya started strong for Dhaka Dominators before falling to Curtis Campher's straighter one. It looked they are losing the plot, but captain Nasir Hosain steadied the ship for them.
But in the last four overs, the momentum changed completely. Challengers bowled tight lines as batters of the Dhaka Dominators couldn't score the needy runs to cruise their ship to the lap of victory. They ended up falling 15 run short. They could have won the game easily, lack of experience cost them the match.
