Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Dhaka Dominators posted a formidable score of 130 runs for loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs against the strong bowling attack of Rangpur Riders. Ariful Haque was the top contributor for Dhaka Dominators, as he scored 29 runs off 26 balls with the help of a six and 2 boundaries, while Abdullah Al Mamun scored 23 runs in 27 balls. On the flip side, Azmatullah was the pick of the bowler as he extracted 2 wickets, while Mahedi Hasan, Haris Rauf, Hasan Mahmud, and Mohammad Nawaz extracted a solitary wicket for each.
In pursuit of the Dhaka Dominators’ formidable score of 130 runs total, Rangpur Riders got off to a decent start as they scored 42 runs for loss of 2 wickets in a powerplay. Mohammad Naim and Rony Talukdar opened for Rangpur Riders. They lost their first wicket in 2nd ball of 1st over of 2nd inning, But Nurul Hasan alongside Rony Talukdar took charge and builds a solid partnership in the middle. After that Rangpur Riders lost 7 wickets in quick succession but in the last over Haris Rauf finished the game with a boundary. Shoaib Malik(7 runs off 5 balls) failed to impress with the bat today. Nurul Hasan the top run-scorer for his team, scored 61 runs off 33 balls, while Rony Talukdar scored 34 runs off 39 balls. On the flip side, Nasir Hossain was the pick of the bowler he scalped 4 wickets, and Shoriful Islam extracted 3 wickets.
A good win for Rangpur Riders and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. On the other side, Dhaka Dominators need to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.

4 FOURRRR!! RAUF FINISHES THE GAME IN HIS STYLE! Back of a length delivery. Rauf stays deep in the crease and pulls that away to the deep mid wicket region to pick up a boundary. Rangpur Riders won the game by 2 wickets and they are qualified for Playoffs as well.
