10:51 PM IST | So, that is it from the 24th game of the BPL encounters. We've witnessed one of the best cliffhanger matches of the particular league today and hope for more of such. Time to take a leave, Tugral Azmi signing off alongside co-commentator buddy Prince Suman, and scorer analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned! Stay safe!!
Nasir Hossain( Dhaka Dominators Captain):" My fielders and bowlers deserve credit for defending such a low total. We were unable to capitalize on the powerplay today, but our bowlers performed admirably to secure the victory."
Taskin Ahmed (Player of the Match):" I'm overjoyed; this was a much-needed victory. I'm delighted to contribute today. I always stick to the fundamentals and processes. The captain had asked me to bowl fast and aggressively, and I got my reward today."
Yasir Ali (Khulna Tigers captain ):" Our bowlers did an excellent job, but our batters did not. The middle order didn't work out. It's a cricket match, and they kept taking wickets at regular intervals. We would have won if we hadn't done that. Rana, the newcomer, bowled exceptionally well today, but it was just one of those days."
Player of the Match: Taskin Ahmed
10:50 PM IST | What an effort by Dhaka Dominators to defend this paltry total. Dhaka Dominators put on a clinical bowling and fielding display, which allowed them to successfully defend this chase and win by 24 runs.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, the Dhaka Dominators struggled to score against the strong bowling attack of the Khulna Tigers and bowled out on a paltry total of 108/10 in 20 overs. Soumya Sarkar was the top contributor for the Tigers, as he amassed 57 runs off 45 balls. On the other hand, Nahidul Islamđź’Ą was the star bowler for the Dhaka Dominators, as he scalped four-for and gave away 6 runs in 4 overs and registered his best figures. Nasum Ahmed also scalped three wickets while Mohammad Saifuddin, Nahid Rana, and Wahab Riaz took a wicket apiece.

In pursuit of the Dominators’ paltry 108-run total, the Khulna Tigers got off to a shaky start as they lost Shai Hope in the third over. Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Tamim Iqbal tried to steady the ship with their sensible batting, but their progress was halted as Joy departed after scoring 4, and he was soon followed by his partner Tamim Iqbal, who perished after scoring 30 runs off 23 balls. In no time, In-form Azam Khan was dismissed cheaply and the Tigers were reeling at the score of 58/4. After Tamim, the skipper of the team tried to handle the innings but he got trapped on Irshad's ball. Tamim Iqbal and Yasir Ali entered double figures. The rest of the batters were shut out for single-digit scores as they folded for 84 in 15.3 overs.

It was a disciplined bowling effort from the Dominators. Taskin Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/9 in 3.3 overs. A couple of wickets for Wanindu Hasaranga and Benny Howell. A wicket for Nasir Hossain and Al-Amin Hossain. Salman Irshad and Amir Hamza bagged a solitary wicket a piece each. They dominated the proceedings with the ball from the start to the finish.

The Dominators delivered a dominant performance overall, and they want to use the same strategy in the upcoming matches.
15.3 T Ahmed to N Rana
W Wicket!!! Bowled!!! Full and straight in the stump, Rana looks to hit it but didn't pick the line length of the ball as the ball past the inner edge of the ball and crashed into the stump. Taskin Ahmed is overcome with joy. Everyone is chasing after him as he runs all over the field. This has been a huge success!
15.2 T Ahmed to N Rana
0 Yorker delivery, close to the off. Rana pushes it away to the off side.
15.1 T Ahmed to M Saifuddin
W WICKET! IN THE AIR AND HAS BEEN TAKEN BY HAMZA! Bangs it short delivery on the leg stump line. Saifuddin is trying to get away from this and touches it on the gloves to the square leg region. Hamza from mid-wicket runs across and takes a perfect diving catch. What a ball-handling display from Dhaka this has been.

14.6 A Hossain to N Ahmed
W WICKET! WICKETS ARE TUMBLING DOWN HERE LIKE A PACK OF CARDS! Short-pitched delivery on the middle and leg stump line. Ahmed is looking for a big shot but gets the leading edge of the blade and the ball lobs up in the air. Hamza at the short mid-wicket region safely pouches it. Another soft dismissal and What a comeback for the Dhaka Dominators. They are on a roll here. Just 2 more wickets away from the victory.
The zinging of one of the zinger bails has stopped. So there will be a slight halt as the umpires fix that.
14.5 A Hossain to N Ahmed
0 Full and outside off. Ahmed looks to drive but gets beaten on the outside edge.
14.4 A Hossain to N Ahmed
4 FOURRR! Overpitched delivery on the off. Ahmed drills it aerially over down the ground and races away to the fence in no time. Much needed boundary for the Tigers.
