That also wraps up our coverage of this game. Stay tuned for the next BPL game coming your way soon. Switch tabs to watch more cricketing networks across formats. For now, this is Megh Mandaliya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Tugral Azmi, and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Cheers and have a good night!
Iftikhar Ahmed is the player of the match.
Nasir Hossain (Dhaka Dominators Captain): "I am disappointed with the performance of my team, my partnership with Mithun was good but no other batsman could do anything today. I think it's a good surface to bat on but we played a poor game. Ahmed and Riyad showed good performance and they were lucky today that we were unable to take their wickets."
10:04 PM IST | In a closely fought game, Fortune Barishal defeated Dhaka Dominators by 13 runs and they continue their winning streak.

In pursuit of a challenging total of 174, the Dhaka Dominators’ openers started on an electrifying note by smacking 45 off the first 5 overs. Usman Ghani played the aggressor and accelerated the innings early on while Soumya Sarkar laid his emphasis on running between the wickets.

The 46-run opening partnership was broken by Karim Janat by dismissing Ghani for 30(19) which includes 2 fours and 3 maximums to his credit. That was soon followed by the wicket of his opening companion as Sarkar 16(15) hoicks one out to the deep. Following that wicket, the Barishal bowlers dried up the boundaries and once again swung the pendulum in their favor.

Captain Nasir Hossain, then joined forces with Mohammad Mithun and the duo provided the much-needed resurgence to the Dominators. The duo soaked up the pressure and then went all guns blazing at the backend. Eventually, the Dominators required 31 off the last two overs and Mohammad Wasim Jr uprooted Mithun for 47(38) and delivered an exceptional penultimate over. Hossain also chalked up 54* (36) but the total was a little too much for him to chase alone.

Earlier in the day, after being invited to bat first, Fortune Barishal registered 173/5 on the board. The Barishal started on a sedate note by losing two early wickets, courtesy of two stunning catches by Taskin Ahmed. Tottering at 17/2, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Chaturanga de Silva steadied the ship and stitched a quick 27 runs partnership. However, the wicket of Silva 10(10) at the stroke of the powerplay poised the game again.

Captain Shakib Al Hasan chipped in with a quickfire 30(17), but it was the 84-run partnership between Iftikhar Ahmed and Mahmudullah that cruised them past a respectable total. Iftikhar, who orchestrated a century in the previous game, continued his blistering form and swatted 56* (34) and Mahmudullah also posted 35* (31). Nasir Hossain was the pick of the bowlers for Dominators as he claimed two crucial breakthroughs by giving away just 16 runs.

Stick around for the post-match presentation!

4 FOURR!! Unfortunately, another loss for the Dhaka Dominators. In the channel and outside the off. Hossain guides that one into the gap between the point and short third man as the ball races away to the boundary fence. Barishal won the game by 13 runs.

1 Short-pitched delivery, a bit slower. Haque pulls it to the leg side for a run.

2 Fuller delivery down the leg stump line. Haque flicks it away to the deep mid-wicket region. Easy single and then turns for the deadly second. He puts a dive in the last moment and made the crease comfortably. The third umpire has signaled it Not-Out.

19.3 Rabbi to N Hossain
1 50 up for Nasir Hossain...!! Length delivery, outside the off. Hossain steers it to the long-off and attains a single.
