So, that's a wrap to the proceedings of this BPL game. Stay tuned for the next BPL game coming your way soon. Switch tabs to watch more cricketing networks across formats. For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya alongside scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Imrul Kayes (Comilla Victorians Captain): "It is a great win for us. We were in a really bad situation three games back and it is good to come back. We had a plan. We wanted Rizwan to take the game deep and wanted a new batter to fire away. The bowlers were fantastic in the powerplay which wasn't the case in the last three matches."
Khushdil Shah: "Thank You. Yes, thanks to Allah. This is my first BPL fifty and handling my role in the team and taking my team and then giving the charge and putting the opposition under pressure. I am enjoying myself. Yes, the wicket was slow. I enjoy my fielding and bowling and batting as well. I want to excel in all three departments of the game."
Khushdil Shah is the Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.

Nasir Hossain (Dhaka Dominators Captain): "The last five over pegged us back and credit also are due to the opposition batters. They did a fantastic job. I hope the top-order helps us out in the forthcoming fixtures."

4:30 PM IST: So, a comfortable win for the Comilla Victorians by 33 runs to climb upwards in the table. The Dominators' bad run continues as they lose another game and have a lot of thinking to do. A great effort from skipper Nasir Hossain, but it was all in vain as the defending champions get two important points.

Chasing a mammoth 185 for the win, the Dominators got off to a bad start as they lost wickets in the powerplay and were 3 down in no time. Ahmed Shehzad scored 19 runs. Mohammad Mithun scored 36 off 34 balls. Ariful Haque remained unbeaten on 24* off 17 balls. But it was the skipper Nasir Hossain who led from the front by playing a lone hand of 66* off 45 balls. He remained unbeaten till the end and got the Dominators to 151/4 in 20 overs. But they fell 33 runs short of the target. 6 extras were given by the fielding side.

Tanvir Islam was the pick of the bowlers for the Comilla Victorians as he finished with 1/12 in 4 overs. Mosaddek got a wicket and so did Hasan Ali. But the bowlers had things under control and had enough runs in the bank to get this easy win as the bowlers were not quite tested today.

Comilla Victorians lost Litton Das off the second ball of the innings for a duck after being inserted to bat first. Thereafter, skipper Imrul Kayes joined Mohammad Rizwan in the middle and contributed 33 off 26 balls. Johnson Charles chipped in with 20 off 19 balls. Rizwan anchored the innings and carried his bat as he stayed unbeaten on 55* off 47 balls. But all these players were overshadowed by Khushdil Shah. It was the Khushdil Shah show at Chattogram as he took the Dhaka Dominators bowling to the cleaners. He scored 64 off just 24 balls and hit Amir Hamza for 29 runs in one over. They scored 84 off the last 5 overs to take their score to 184/4 in 20 overs. 9 extras were given by the fielding side.

From the bowling point of view, Taskin Ahmed picked up a wicket and kept things tight. A wicket apiece for Imran Randhawa, Nasir Hossain, and Soumya Sarkar. They tried their best and kept things under check for the initial overs but had no answer to the brilliance of Khushdil Shah.

So, a win by 33 runs to climb upwards in the points table. This is their third straight win and they are now up to 3rd place in the points table. Stick around for the post-match presentation ceremony.
