That's it from our coverage of match number 11 of the Bangladesh Premier League 2023. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from around the world.
Imrul Kayes (Comilla Victorians Captain): "Disappointing to lose three games in a row. I think it was a 180+ target but couldn't chase it down. I think Fizz not bowling 3 overs hampered us. The batting didn't click. All is not lost. We have to be positive and will hopefully bounce back in the coming games. Rizwan has joined us and there are others there. We are not clicking as a unit. That's hurting us."
4:21 PM IST: The Fortune Barishal have registered their third victory of the BPL 2023 with a 12 run win over the Comilla Victorians here. Quick recap to the game, Comilla Victorians won the toss and elected to field first getting 2 wickets inside the powerplay.

The Fortune Barishal started well and got 50 runs in the first six overs. Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer with 81 off 45 deliveries hitting 8 fours and 4 towering sixes. Karim Janat helped him finish the innings scoring 10 in just 5 balls to set a total of 177. Tanvir Islam had a brilliant day in the field as he finished with 4/33 with Khushdil Shah (1/31) and Nayeem Hasan getting a wicket apiece.

The Comilla Victorians started well adding 49 runs for the loss of one wicket in the powerplay with Litton Das (32) giving them a good start. Mohammad Rizwan who featured in an ODI in Karachi yesterday was into the game and scored 18 off 11 balls before departing in the 6th over. Litton Das was soon run out by a brilliant throw from Karim Janat from deep fine leg and then the Victorians started losing wickets at regular intervals.

Khushdil Shah and Mosaddek Hossain then added 54 runs for the sixth wicket keeping the Victorians in the hunt before Karim Janat sent Mosaddek back by disloding his bails with an off cutter. Khushdil remained unbeaten till the end at 43 off 27 balls but with 24 runs needed off the final over, the pressure was too big to get to the total. Shakib Al Hasan, Chaturanga de Silva, Iftikhar Ahmed, Karim Janat and Kamrul Islam all picked up a wicket apiece.
