Shakib Al Hasan( Fortune Barishal Skipper): " Yes I thought we have been batting really well. In the three games we played, we ticked all the boxes in the batting. We have got a good batting line-up everyone is stepping up whenever needed. When we are batting first always it's important to score 10-15 more runs so that we can give an extra cushion to our bowlers."
Iftikhar Ahmed (Player of the match): "It was a very good batting wicket and enjoyed it too. The top order batted well, but as a senior player, it was my duty to bat all the way through and help us reach a respectable total. There's always momentum when you win and hopefully, we can carry that forward."

It was a good batting track but we didn't make full use of it today. Max O'Dowd and Usman Khan played really well but in the middle overs, we didn't bat well. Yeah, Rahman gave us a little bit of hope but it didn't work out."

In the end, it was Fortune Barishal who emerged victorious with a 26-run win over Chattogram Challengers. The match was a high-scoring affair, with both teams posting impressive totals on the board. Fortune Barishal got off to a strong start after being invited to bat first, thanks to a swashbuckling inning of 57* off 26 from Iftikhar Ahmed💥. They managed to post a total of 202 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Abu Jayed was the pick of the bowlers for the Chattogram Challengers, as he scalped three wickets but gave away 49 runs in four overs.
In pursuit of Barishal’s 202-run total, the Chattogram Challengers got off to a flying start as their openers, Usman Khan and Max O'Dowd, started scoring briskly. However, their efforts were cut short when Usman Khan was dismissed for 36 runs off 19 balls. Max O’Dowd and Unmukt Chand continued to bat aggressively, but their progress was halted when Max O’Dowd was dismissed for 29 runs off 29 balls, followed by Unmukt Chand who scored 16 runs off 21 balls. Afif Hossain and Ziaur Rahman struggled to score in the middle, and Afif Hossain was dismissed for 28 runs off 21 balls. Ziaur Rahman scored briskly, but it was too late by then and the Chattogram Challengers were restricted to 176 runs.
Fortune Barishal bowled brilliantly, with Shakib Al Hasan, Khaled Ahmed, Kamrul Islam, and Karim Janat sharing one wicket each. This was a well-deserved win for Fortune Barishal, who outplayed the Chattogram Challengers in all departments of the game.
