Towhid Hridoy ( Player of the match): "Yeah, I am happy for the back-to-back player of the match, but it would have been better if I remained there till the end and finish the game. I am just focusing on my game and playing good cricket."
Imrul Kayes | Captain Comilla Victorians: "Yeah definitely we didn't start well we lost so many wickets so it's difficult to score in the end overs. Jaker batted pretty well today. The wicket was okay because the seam ball was coming nicely but the slower ball was not coming, in the second innings, the ball was coming onto the bat easily. We lost two matches but we have two days and we will think about it and make a good comeback."

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, the Comilla Victorians posted 149/6 in 20 overs. Jaker Ali was the top scorer for the Victorians, as he amassed 57* runs off 43 balls and helped his side post a 149-run total. On the other side, Thisara Perera and Mohammad Amir extracted a couple of wickets each for the Strikers.
In pursuit of the Victorians’ 149-run total, the Strikers didn’t get off to a good start as they lost Mohammad Haris in the second over, he departed for 6 runs off 3 balls. Towhid Hridoy joined Najmul Hossain Shanto at number three, and the pair started scoring briskly, but their progress was halted as Najmul Hossain Shanto departed for 19 runs off 21 balls after forging a partnership of 43 runs for the second wicket. Zakir Hasan came out with all guns blazing but didn’t last for long and left after playing a short cameo of 20 runs off 10 balls.
Towhid Hridoy completed his fifty on the occasion, departed for 56 runs off 37 balls, and forged a partnership of 42 runs for the 4th wicket with Mushfiqur Rahim. Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten on 28 runs off 25 balls and sealed the game by 5 wickets with 14 balls to spare.
On the other hand, Mohammad Nabi and Khushdil Shah extracted a couple of wickets each, and Abu Hider Rony contributed one wicket for the Victorians.
Overall the Strikers dominated the Victorians and will look to continue a similar approach in the next upcoming matches. Comilla Victorians have lost two in two now and need to regroup and come back stronger in the next match.
