That's it for this entertaining game. Join us back for more BPL action on Monday and stay tuned to our network for all other cricketing action across the globe. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and Cheers! Take Care.
Mashrafe Mortaza (Sylhet Strikers): "It was a fantastic match from a batting point of view. We knew it was a good wicket and just needed that partnership. From a bowling point of view, we were not up to the mark. We were eyeing to restrict them to 165 but Shakib took the game away from us. We are happy to get over the line."
Towhid Hridoy (Player of the Match): "Yes always played with freedom as I got advice from my seniors. When I and Shanto were batting we were looking to finish the match and get boundaries and singles and we got a 100-run stand to win the match. So, happy with the effort."

Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Fortune Barishal Captain): “Yes, we played really well. Especially Shakib Al Hasan. We had a good score but failed to capitalize on that. We also didn't take catches. We missed four of them and eventually, Shanto and Rahim played really well. We have a lot of matches upcoming and I hope we come back strongly."

Time for the presentation ceremony...
9:40 PM IST: A complete batting performance from the Sylhet Strikers gives them a 6-wicket win with an over to spare as they chase this big score down in 19 overs. Barishal may have thought they have got enough, but they were highly mistaken.

Chasing a stiff target of 195 for the win, the Strikers lost Ackermann early to a lazy run-out. But after that, it was a combined batting effort from the Strikers. The duo of Najmul Hossain Shanto and Towhid Hridoy put up a 101-run stand for the second wicket that set this chase up. Shanto scored 48 off 40 balls. Hridoy scored 55 off 34 balls. Zakir Hasan came in and played a game-changing inning of 43 runs off 18 balls. The skipper Mushfiqur Rahim stayed unbeaten on 23* off 11 balls. Thisara Perera came and finished things off in style as he scored 20* off 9 balls. 6 extras were given by the fielding side as the chase was done in 19 overs.

A wicket apiece for Chaturanga de Silva and Karim Janat. But their bowlers also went the distance as it was tough bowling under the lights quite contrary to the afternoon game that we are having.

Opting to bat first, Fortune Barishal got off to a solid start courtesy of their openers Anamul Haque and Chaturanga de Silva. The duo put on 67 for the first wicket inside 8 overs. Chaturanga scored 36 while Anamul scored 29. Iftikhar scored 13 off 10 balls. But it was the Shakib Al Hasan show as he crafted a breathtaking 67 off 32 balls. He was magnificent. Mahmudullah chipped in with 19 off 12 balls while Karim Janat stayed unbeaten on 17* off 12 balls as Fortune Barishal ended up with 194/7 with 9 extras given by the fielding side.

Mashrafe Mortaza picked up 3 wickets but went for 48 runs in his 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Imad Wasim, Rejaur Rahman Raja, and Thisara Perera. Imad, Raja, and Amir kept it relatively tight while Perera went the distance like many bowlers tonight.

So, a win for the Sylhet Strikers over Fortune Barishal by 6 wickets with an over to spare to go top of the points table. Stick around for the post-match presentation ceremony coming your way soon.

WOW! Thisara Perera finishes things off in style as the Strikers win this game by 6 wickets. This is the third highest successful chase in BPL history.
18.6 K Ahmed to T Perera
6 SIXXX! THAT'S IT! Perera has finished things off with a six. Back of a length delivery in the middle, Perera swivels and hoicks that towards deep mid-wicket as the ball sails over the boundary ropes. Sylhet Strikers have thwarted Barishal by 6 wickets. Excellent run-chase by them.
He has sealed the game here with this hit.
18.5 K Ahmed to T Perera
6 MAXIMUMM! That will surely do it for the Strikers. Overpitched from Ahmed that angled outside off, Perera stands tall and clobbers that over long-off for a huge six.
18.4 K Ahmed to M Rahim
1 Back of a length and outside off, Rahim follows the line and slashes that to the sweeper cover for a single.
18.3 K Ahmed to T Perera
1 Good length and slower again outside off, Perera dabs that down the ground for a single.
18.2 K Ahmed to T Perera
4 FOURR! An important boundary for the Strikers. Good length outside off with the pace being taken off, Perera stands tall and firmly pulls that past the deep mid-wicket for a boundary.
18.1 K Ahmed to T Perera
2 Overpitched angling away from off, Perera clears his front leg and drills it down the ground to scamper back for the second.
19 runs are needed off 12 balls.

1 Length and outside off, Perera punches that to long-off for a single to end the over.
17.5 Silva to T Perera
0 Length and quicker outside off, Perera bides at the crease and goes for wild swing again but no connection between bat and ball, no run.
