And with that, the curtains have come down on the historic first season of IL20! It was a thrilling journey, and the Gulf GiantsπŸ† have emerged as the champions, making their mark in the annals of ILT20 history as the inaugural winners of this electrifying league. They will be forever remembered every time we relive the excitement of this fantastic competition.

James Vince receives the trophyπŸ† and the party begins at Dubai International cricket stadium.πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
James Vince (Gulf Giants Captain): "It is a great feeling. Taking some big wickets, Hasaranga batted well and put us under pressure but we fought back with the ball. Sticky surface but Lynny showed his class tonight. The Adani family and the Gulf Giants have been really supportive."
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers Captain): "The first 7-8 overs with the bat is where we faltered with the bat. They bowled really well. Credit to the Giants and they have been the form team, they beat us twice in the group stage and they were a bit better team tonight. The boys have been outstanding, I have enjoyed myself and it has been a big learning curve for me, even at the back end of my career. Credit to the groundstaff as well.
Chris Jordan (Best Bowler of the Season and Most Valuable Player): "Quite hefty, but it feels good to be here. Will unquestionably prefer the trophy to the belt. I liked the atmosphere because it was a place where the guys could go and express themselves. Tonight's catches were enjoyable. Carlos bowled and I caught the cricket balls as we were playing under-13 cricket together. There has been a terrific balance, and Andy has been outstanding. We had some amusing group banter and are proud to be victors."
