23:27 PM IST | That concludes the presentation and that also wraps up our coverage of the Second Qualifier. The ILT20 Final is ready to roll. Gulf Giants will square off with Desert Vipers on Sunday in the inaugural International League T20 Final. Do join us for the finale and stick with us for all other cricketing actions across the globe. For now, this is Tugral Azmi, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Srivathsa, and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Cheers and have a good night!
James Vince (Gulf Giants Captain): "Hopefully we'll be here on Sunday too. We started going quickly, which relieved some of the pressure. We lost a few wickets, but the replacement batsmen did a good job, so I kept playing. They excelled throughout the competition. We could have kept them 10-15 runs shorter if we had played better defense. On Sunday, we have an opportunity to make things right when we play the Vipers. Tomorrow is a big relaxation day, and we return on Sunday. We appreciate the encouragement from the crowd."
Player of the Match: James Vince
Kieron Pollard (MI Emirates Captain): "They bowled effectively in the opening 10 overs and restrained us. We still lacked 15 to 20 runs. We have to tighten up. We are aware that they played well despite the fact that we might have placed them under pressure if we had taken a few early wickets. We needed to be a little crisper since we missed a few receptions, which is unworthy of winning the championship. The opportunity for the young men to interact with the more seasoned men will be beneficial to them moving forward."
The Giants have moved to the final thanks to their skipper James Vince's knock who led from the front.

Right from the first ball he looked at ease and took heavy toll of Trent Boult in the powerplay.

He kept the innings moving along and despite the loss of the others, never allowed the rate to go up.

MIE tried all their options but Rashid Khan and Trent Boult were expensive which proved costly. The Giants repeatedly swept Rashid and put him off his line and length.

Pollard even did his playacting tricks with Erasmus and Carlos Brathwaite but it did not work.

Earlier the Giants, who were invited by Emirates to bat first, got off to a shaky start, loss of Andre Fletcher in the second over of the inning and leaving Waseem to take charge of the innings. Tucker joined Waseem at the crease, and the two began to build a partnership of 25 runs in the middle before Tucker departed at 21 off 17 balls. Emirates scored 34 runs and a loss of two wickets in the powerplay.

Skipper Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran took on the responsibility of stabilizing the ship and forged a robust partnership of 71 runs for the fifth wicket and help their side to 168.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
18.1 F Farooqi to J Vince
4 FOURRRR! WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE GAME! A tad fuller outside the off. Vince goes over the infield as he goes inside out over the covers as the ball races to the fence in no time. The Giants have secured a win by four wickets! With this win, Gulf Giants have cleared their way to the finals.

17.6 T Boult to C Brathwaite
W BOWLED HIM! Yorker delivery by Boult is right on the money. Brathwaite looks to drive at it and gets beaten on the inside edge. Leaves a big gap between bat and pad as he gets bowled out. The sweet sound of the timbers.
17.5 T Boult to C Brathwaite
0 Over the wicket, fuller on the woods. Brathwaite pushes it straight to the man at short cover. Giants are inching away from victory.
17.4 T Boult to J Vince
1 Around the wicket, Good length, nipping back into the middle stump line. Vince dabs it comfortably to the square leg to get to the other ends.
17.3 T Boult to J Vince
0 Back of a length delivery, on the leg stump. Vince looks to pull but misses it through to the keeper.

6 SIXXX! DOWN THE GROUND! Fuller delivery, is right in the slot. Brathwaite picks it up and slams that down the ground high and handsome as he deposit that one behind the sight screen.
