Kieron Pollard( MI Emirates Captain): " Yeah, first thing is to qualify for the playoffs and still we have a game to go, and feels nice and well efforts from boys. We were behind at starting with running a ball and but the pitch had a part to play. If the decision does not work, you get criticized. Tucker played well for us. We are willing to do things out of the box for winning games. It takes time to understand team dynamics things. Zahoor has been doing well over the years for local T10s. He (Bravo) has shown his experience in the middle. We acknowledge his presence."

Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain): "Yes, I think we had them under control. But in the last 7 overs, they took the game away from us. Kieron was great and if he gets going he is hard to stop. We had plans, but couldn't execute them. Marchant bowled well and it was good to see how he bowled today. One of the positives that we saw today. Let's see how it goes in the final game tomorrow."

11.27 PM IST: With this wicket, the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders are bundled out at 162. The MI Emirates win this game by 18 runs and they registered their fifth win in ILT20 2023.
Chasing 181, the Knight Riders started the inning with Paul Stirling and Joe Clarke. But lost the wicket of Stirling at the second ball of the inning. Clarke took charge along with King and put in 25 runs for the second wicket before King departed at 19 runs off 13 balls. The Knight Riders scored 50 runs loss of two wickets in the powerplay.
Asalanka looked good
in the middle but unfortunately, he went off at 17 off 14. Clarke came as an opener and he got the starting but failed to convert it into the big and
departed at 22 off 17.
Russell Joined Esterhuizen
and they both did good work in the middle and built up a partnership of 34 runs in the 4 overs for the fifth wicket before
Russell departed at 42 off 22 with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes followed by Narine’s
(11 off 6) wickets at 130 on board. Esterhuizen struggled to take his team towards the victory
but failed and went off at 17 and at last Knight Riders are just 18 runs short
of the victory line as they bundled out at 162 in the 19.2 overs.
This was a good day for Emirates bowlers, Bravo bowled well for his team, gave away 37 runs in his spell, and picked three wickets while Zahoor Khan also did well with the ball and pocketed 2 wickets. Tahir scalped two wickets in his spell. Farooqi, Mousley, and Boult celebrated with 1-1 wicket each.
Earlier in the day, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Emirates got off to a good start. Andre Fletcher struggled in the middle and departed at 22 off 25 balls. The Emirates are posted 29/0 in the powerplay.
Waseem and Tucker, both handled the inning very well. Both put a stand of 87 runs for the second wicket before Tucker went off as they retired out at 33 off 23 balls. Muhammad Waseem struggled initially but made up towards the end as he top-scored with 60 off 43 balls.
Skipper Pollard played a great knock of 43 runs off 17 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes at the end. The Emirates finished the inning at 180/4 in the 20 overs.
