That's the end of the game here in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Hope you have enjoyed all the action here at our network. For now, this is me Saipavan Janaki signing it off along with my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar alongside our scorer Chandan Kr Singh. Stay tuned for more coverage going on in our network, take care, stay safe and enjoy!!!!
Naveen Ul Haq(Player of the match): " Well to be honest I am feeling really well. Sometimes we get wickets some times we don't. Good to contribute to the team. In T20 cricket sometimes the batters get over us but we need to take the challenge. To be honest I haven't bowled this many wides throughout my career it was a bit difficult."
Moeen Ali(Sharjah Warriors Skipper): "Yeah, a great win in the end. It was swinging and wanted to make the most of the powerplay, Woakes was outstanding tonight. Hopefully, we are peaking at the right time. Today I was not needed to bowl."
James Vince(Gulf Giants Skipper): "Obviously it was different conditions here. At the halfway mark it looked like they scored above par. While batting we lost the wickets early, with many soft dismissals at the top. Tom played really well for them at the top, chasing above 150 was always going to be tricky here. We approach every game to win it, we have won four out of five we will try to bounce back in the next game."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony!!!
11:25 PM IST: With this solid performance, the Sharjah Warriors won this game by 21 runs and registered back-to-back wins in ILT20 2023.

Chasing 152, the Gulf Giants never got going as they lost wickets in clusters from the get-go. They started the inning with Skipper Vince and Ahmed. They had a horrible start as they lost the wicket of Ahmed without any runs on the scoreboard. Top-order batters never looked good in the middle and lost 5 wickets in the 5.3 overs. Lynn scored a fighting 20 off 22 balls at the top of the order. The Giants scored 27 runs and lost five wickets in the powerplay.

David Wiese and Chris Jordan both put up a partnership of 27 runs in the middle before Wiese departs at 35 off 29 balls with the help of 3 fours and a six. Chris Jordan came and scored a breathtaking 37 off 26 balls at the end of the day to reduce the margin. So, Jordan had a good day with both the bat and the ball but his team didn't. The Giants finished at 130 in 19.4 overs.

Warriors bowlers did a great job from the start and destroyed Giants' top order. Naveen-ul-Haq was the pick of the bowler, gave away 38 runs in his 3.4 overs, and scalped 5 wickets. Chris Woakes pocketed 2 wickets in his name while also Siddique scalped 2 wickets in his spell and Ahmed celebrated with a wicket.

Earlier in the day, Gulf Giants won the toss and opt to bowl first. The Warriors openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and his co-partner Tom Kohler-Cadmore failed to give a good start for the Warriors as they lost the wicket of Gurbaz with 12 runs on board. But Cadmore played a quick-fired knock of 36 runs off 20 ballsSharjah Warriors scored 48 runs with the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay. Malan failed to impress us today as he departed at 5 runs.

Skipper Moeen Ali and Joe Denly steered the sinking ship of the Warriors. This duo glued a partnership of 37 runs for the 4th wicket before Moeen Ali departed at 16 runs off 12 balls. Joe Denly end one end pretty well and helped his team to get to a total of 151 runs. He played an excellent knock of 58 runs off 43 balls.

From the Giant's bowling side,
Chris Jordan was the pick of the bowlers as he scalped 3 wickets and became the highest wicket-taker in this tournament. Gleeson, Sharma, Wiese, and Ahmed scalped a wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.

W That's it!!! Bowled em!!!!! Sharjah Warriors have won this game by 21 runs. Fuller length delivery on the off-stump line, a slower one once again. Gleeson without any foot movement tries to defend it but gets deceived by the pace and the ball rattles the timber. Naveen Ul Haq gets his fifth wicket.
