That's it from this game. Join us tomorrow for a double-header on Super Saturday in the ILT20 League 2023. Stay tuned to our network for all the other cricketing action across the globe across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Akshay Bhide alongside scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Alex Hales: "Thank You. Incredible special feeling. We played good cricket and I am enjoying it. Yes, it's been incredible and solely focusing on one format has helped me a lot. Yes, I have had to adapt and work on ky games and keep on evolving is my mantra. I think contributing to the team matters a lot to me and I am glad it is happening."
Alex Hales is the Player of the Match.
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers Skipper): "Credit to Alex Hales for the way he set up things. We have got the best spinners in the world and Cottrell is brilliant upfront. I asked the boys to step up tonight and they did it. Kumara bowled a good spell upfront but happy that I got some runs under the belt. We were clinical from ball one and everyone is contributing really well. We have got all the bases covered and really looking forward to the upcoming games."
Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain): "When you lose it's tough trying to find the right combination. We haven't been up to scratch. I think we are not winning and bowling we are struggling and batting as well. It's about team combination. We back the boys and believe we will come back stronger and win in the coming games. I have belief in the boys."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
10:41 PM IST: That's the end of the game. A comprehensive win for the Desert Vipers as they beat the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by 111 runs to make it 3 wins out of 3 games. They outplayed the Knights in all three departments of the game to win the game so easily in the end.

Chasing a mammoth 220 for the win, the Knight Riders never got going as they lost wickets in regular intervals. None of the top-order batters got going and it was left to Andre Russell to give the score some respectability. It was the DreRuss show that we saw a bit. He scored 57 off 29 balls while Silva and Farid entered double figures. The rest of the batters were shut out for single-digit scores as they folded for 108 in 15.1 overs. 7 extras were given by the fielding side.

It was a disciplined bowling effort from the Desert Vipers. Sheldon Cottrell was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/14 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Wanindu Hasaranga and Benny Howell. A wicket for Atkinson and Shiraz Ahmed, in the end, to go with the run-out effected by Hasaranga. They dominated the proceedings with the ball from the start to the finish.

Earlier in the game, it was the Alex Hales show that powered the Desert Vipers to a massive total. Despite losing Rohan Mustafa early, Hales was at his marauding best as he showed his dominance from the start to notch up the first century of the tournament. He scored 110 off 59 balls and was run out of the final ball of the innings. He was ably supported by skipper Colin Munro as the duo put on 164 for the second wicket. Munro got his form back as he scored 56 off 41 balls. Sherfane Rutherford came and scored a cameo of 23 off 7 balls. Tom Curran was unbeaten on 16* off 8 balls as the Vipers ended with 219/4 in 20 overs with 6 extras given by the fielding side.

Lahiru Kumara was the pick of the bowlers for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. He picked up a couple of wickets for 31 runs in his 4 overs. The other wicket fell to Andre Russell who went the distance like all the other bowlers of the Knight Riders. It was a hapless bowling display by them against the brilliance of Alex Hales.

So, a win by 111 runs for the Desert Vipers to make it 3 wins out of 3 games. They are at the top of the points table with this win. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way now.

15.1 B Howell to M Khan
W Struck in front, a loud appeal and the finger is raised. Howell bowls it on a length on the stumps, Khan is beaten on the inside edge while defending it and wears it on the back leg in front of the stumps. The umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger. Khan decides to try his luck and reviews it. Looked plumb to the naked eye.

14.5 S Ahmed to A Russell
W Russell holes out in the deep. Ahmed from round the wicket bowls it full and well outside off, Russell reaches out at it as he slices it. He doesn't get the required distance as Mustafa stationed at deep point takes a good catch with a reverse cup. End of an entertaining knock from Russell. He departs on a 29-ball 57.
14.4 S Ahmed to A Russell
0 A low full toss outside off and Russell drags it along the ground towards deep mid wicket. No run.
14.3 S Ahmed to A Russell
0 A wide yorker from Ahmed and Russell slices it to deep point. He denies the single here.
14.2 S Ahmed to A Russell
6 SIXXX!!!! Ahmed misses his mark and gets dispatched into the stands. Bowls it full on the stumps, Russell gets underneath it and launches it over long on for a maximum. It sails 83 m and a good catch from the ball boy outside the fence.
