That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and Scorer / Analyst Manish Bishnoi. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Wanindu Hasaranga (Player of the Match): "I came here after the India series and happy with my performance. The pitch was a bit slow when we were bowling and it was a good toss to win. I tried to bowl dot balls. Russell is a big man and I got him out on the first ball so I'm very happy."
Wanindu Hasaranga is named the Player of the Match.
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers Skipper): "We weren't too sure at the toss but it worked for us tonight. We started quite well with the ball. The addition of Hasaranga has helped us and finishing with figures of 3/18 did the job for us. We can lift a bit more in the field. Dropped a couple of chances but would be happy if we held onto it. Alex is one of the best T20 players in the world and great to see how he goes about his business. If he can continue his form, then I'm very happy."
Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Skipper: "We needed runs. If we get runs and get wickets in the powerplay, it makes a difference. I think if we bat first, we have to post a good total on the board. We have to step up as a batting unit It's a good surface but they bowled well. Hopefully, we will get our plans right in the next match. We gave a good fight. Russ picked up a couple of wickets but the partnership between Hales and Billings took the game away from us."
10:34 PM IST | Prince: Winning streak continues for Desert Vipers as they thumped Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by 7 wickets to win back-to-back games.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Abu Dhabi Knight Rider managed to post 133 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Brandon King and Kennar Lewis opened the inning for Abu Dhabi Knight Rider. After the loss of  2 wickets in quick succession, they managed to score 47 runs in the powerplay. Kennar Lewis(1 run off 3 balls) and Dhananjaya de Silva(5 runs off 4 balls)  failed to impress with the bat today, and they were the batter to depart in the powerplay.

Brandon King and Charitha Asalanka tried to build some partnership but their progress was halted as Charith Asalanka departed for 26 runs off 21 balls.  After that Brandon king with Akeal Hosein (12* runs off 18 balls) contributed some runs in the end. The highest scorer for Abu Dhabi Knight Ride was Brandon King who scored 57 runs off 44 balls.  Andre Russell (o runs off 1 ball) didn’t open his account today while skipper Sunil Narine scored 3 runs off 6 balls. Alex Hales and Sam billings built a partnership in the middle, then in the end Rutherford(11* runs off 4 balls) finished the match with a six. Alex Hales who scored 64 runs off 47 balls is the highest scorer for Viper, while Sam Billings scored unbeaten 35 runs off 29 balls. Back-to-back victory for Desert Vipers, and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. On the other side,  Abu Dhabi Knight Riders need to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.

Stick around for the post-match presentations…….

15.4 A Russell to S Rutherford

15.3 A Russell to S Billings
1 Fuller ball down the leg, Billings shuffles across and flicks it to deep square leg for a single.
15.2 A Russell to S Billings
4 FOUR!!!!! Russell overpitches this one outside off, Billings leans into it and drives it beautifully past covers for a boundary. The sweeper in the off side has no chance of stopping this one.

14.2 S Narine to A Hales
W Chopped on. Narine bowls it on a length outside off, Hales looks to push it through the point region but ends up getting an inside edge back on his stumps. He is disappointed with himself as he would have loved to take his side across the line. He departs on 64.
