Jay Gohil: "Really it's a good feeling, I just played normally Samarth said just play and enjoy the game and I did the same. Let's hope that I do well in the finals and we lift the trophy."
Jaydev Unadkat hands over his player of the match award to Jay Gohil!!!
Jaydev Unadkat(Player of the Match): "It is a great feeling to enter into the finals. When we entered the knockouts, we felt pretty well. Everyone played very well today, they contributed with bat and bowl. I want to give the player of the match to Jay, coming into bat when we were two down without a run, he took our team over the line. He played very well."
3:49 PM IST | So, that ends a successful chase for Saurashtra here and it was stylish finish for them. Jaydev Unadkat and his team take revenge of 2017-18 final and get a shot to lift the trophy for the second time. They will be waiting for the winners from the other semifinal between Maharasthra and Assam.

Earlier, Jaydev Unadkat won the toss and decided to bowl first. The bowlers started the match on a great note as they picked up 2 early wickets and were also very economical.

Ravikumar Samarth kept it together for Karnataka at one end while wickets kept tumbling from the other. The Karnataka batters never got going as Saurashtra bowlers maintained an ideal line and length for the pitch.

Some lower-down-the-order contributions by Bhandage (22 off 27 ) and Ronit More (16 off 29) alongside the lone warrior, Ravikumar Samarth helped Karnataka manage a total of 172 runs. But they were bundled out on the first ball of the final over. Samarth was the 8th wicket to fall for Karnataka after he scored a resilient and gutsy 88 off 135 balls.

Jaydev Unadkat led the bowling efforts of his team from the front picking up 4 wickets for 26 runs in his 10 overs.

Saurashtra had a nightmarish start to their chase of the moderate target of 173 runs. Harvik Desai and Sheldon Jackson were sent back to the hut by the third over of the innings for silver ducks.

At this stage, Samarth Vyas and Jay Gohil came together with the score reading 0 for 2. From there they progressed slowly and steadily and ensured there were no further immediate slips. They stabilized the innings and got Saurashtra out of trouble. They stitched a 75 runs partnership before, Krishnappa Gowtham bowled Samarth Vyas (33 off 55) off a great delivery

But Gohil looked very determined and continued batting steadily. Prerak Mankad played a great supporting role along with him and the duo gradually took Saurashtra toward the final.

The fourth wicket in the form of Mankad (35 off 32) fell when Saurashtra needed 44 runs off 137 balls. The wicket came a bit too late for Karnataka, they also dismissed Gohil (61 off 82) but that could not prevent their defeat. Saurashtra won the match by five wickets with 82 balls left in their innings.
