So, that's it from this game and the series. Do join us for more cricketing across the globe in our network across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Akshay Bhide alongside scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS to all!
Sune Luus collects the trophy and her teammates join for the photographs. The support staff joins in. All smiles in the South African camp as they beat India Women in the final to clinch the Tri-Series.
Sune Luus (South Africa Captain): "Thank you very much. Proud of the girls. Needed that will give us confidence going forward. It was a spinning wicket. All the bowlers did well and Tryon was great with that innings. The fielding is something that we pride ourselves on and the fielding coach will be happy for sure. I am happy and looking forward to the World Cup now."
Deepti Sharma (Player of the Series): "Throughout the tournament, I bowled according to the situation and I executed the plans as discussed in the meetings. The ball was turning and it helped the spinners. We bowled well and I'm happy with my performance."
Deepti Sharma is named the Player of the Series.
Chloe Tryon (Player of the Match): "A great game and the bowlers did the job on a tough pitch and then glad to take the side home. Happy to win and get the side home. This win will give us a lot of confidence going forward. Happy with the win a lot."
Chloe Tryon is the Player of the Match.
Harmanpreet Kaur (India Skipper): "The body is feeling good but it will take 2-3 days to recover. A lot of positives before heading to the World Cup. We were not able to bat well today but the bowlers have done really well. We just have to keep doing the things which are good for us."
Time for the post-match presentation.
9:20 PM IST: Chloe Tryon finishes things off in style as she has played a game-changing knock to help South Africa Women win this game by 5 wickets with 2 overs to spare to win the tri-series. The bowlers set it up earlier in the day, and Tryon ensured that the hosts prevail despite a stiff challenge by the Indian spinners early on.

Chasing a gettable score of 110 on a testing pitch, South Africa got off to a bad start as they lost early wickets. The skipper Sune Luus scored 12. But it was the Chloe Tryon show. She single-handedly changed the game for South Africa. She remained unbeaten on 57* off 32 balls. Nadine de Klerk was with her in the end unbeaten on 17* off 17 balls as the duo shared a magnificent partnership for the 6th wicket to get to the win in 18 overs. 4 extras were given by the fielding side.

The Indian bowlers tried hard with a paltry total to defend. Deepti Sharma got a wicket in her 4 overs 1/19. Rajeshwari Gayakwad got a wicket. A couple of wickets to Sneh Rana and a wicket also to Renuka Singh Thakur. But they had a low total to defend. Another 20-30 runs would have done the job for India. It was not to be and the Proteas deserve the win.

Winning the toss and deciding to bat first, India never really got going on a testing surface. They lost Smriti Mandhana for 1. They crawled their way into the powerplay scoring 19 runs in that period. Jemimah Rodrigues scored 11 off 18 balls. Harleen Deol struggled her way to be the top scorer for India. She held the innings together with her 46 runs coming off 56 balls. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur chipped in with 21 off 22 balls. Deepti Sharma was unbeaten on 16* off 14 balls as India crossed the 100-run mark. 14 extras were given by the fielding side as India ended with a below-par 109/4 in 20 overs.

It was a disciplined bowling performance by the South African bowlers. The pick of the bowlers was Mlaba who had exceptional figures of 2/16 in 4 overs. Ayabonga Khaka got a wicket in her 3 overs. The other wicket went to skipper Sune Luus who bowled a tight 4-over spell. The rest of the bowlers kept it tight and Ismail despite not picking a wicket hardly gave anything away.

So, a win by South Africa Women by 5 wickets over India Women with 2 overs to spare to win the tri-series. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.

17.6 S Rana to C Tryon
6 Tryon finishes things in style. Vastrakar drops a sitter out on the boundary and it results in a six. With this, South Africa Women beat India Women by five wickets to win the Tri-Series. This was a tossed up delivery on leg, Tryon heaves it into the leg side. She gets the elevation but not the distance as Vastrakar stationed at deep square leg settles under this but drops it and the ball lands beyond the ropes.
17.5 S Rana to Klerk
1 Turning in on the pads, de Klerk slogs it in the leg side and Vastrakar from deep square leg runs in and dives forward. She gets both hands to it but fails to hold onto it.
17.4 S Rana to C Tryon
1 Tryon steps out of the crease and inside edges the slog on her pads. The ball rolls in the off side and the batters steal a single.
17.3 S Rana to Klerk
1 Another low full toss and de Klerk drives it towards long off for a single.
17.2 S Rana to Klerk
0 Turning in on the stumps, de Klerk makes room and guides it to backward point. No run.
17.1 S Rana to Klerk
4 FOUR!!!! Poor ball and gets the treatment it deserved. A low full toss from Rana on the stumps, de Klerk slogs it over mid wicket and collects a boundary. A couple of bounces and into the fence.
The 100 comes up for South Africa as they need a further 10 runs off 18 balls.
