That’s a wrap from our side as well. It was a great game for cricket enthusiasts, and I hope you enjoyed our live coverage. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentators Arijit Kundu and Prince Suman and Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌
Aiden Markram(Player of the match & Captain Sunrisers ): "It's very gratifying. We ultimately put ourselves in a difficult situation. There was a lot to learn and use individually from this game, therefore I wanted to be there at the end to finish the job. Stubbs deserves praise for guiding us to the finish line. In the end, I was a little anxious but definitely happy. In this competition, there is not much room for error, thus I considered a score of 160 to be a par one."
Rashid Khan(MI Cape Town Captain): "It was a pretty close game. we fell short by 15-20. However, we fought valiantly, and altogether, it was a solid effort, particularly the way we used the ball to come back. There are still a few things to consider, but we will play well next time. The next game is at home, and we will give it our all. Keep your attention on that and recognize your place in the team."
12:30 AM IST | Deepak: Sunrisers Eastern registers their first victory of the league as they crushed MI Cape Town by 4 wickets in an enthralling contest.πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ A crucial knock from Stubbs has helped the orange army to open their victory account.

In the first inning, MI Cape Town posted a formidable total of 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, with George Linde leading the charge with a breathtaking 63 runs off 28 balls. However, their efforts were met with resistance by the Sunrisers Eastern Cape bowlers, particularly Ottniel Baartman, who caused chaos in the opposition's camp by taking three wickets in his four overs.

In response, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape got off to a rocky start as they lost Adam Rossington and JJ Smuts in the first over. Sarel Erwee and Aiden Markram took charge of batting in the middle and orchestrated a steady recovery with a crucial 92-run partnership for the third wicket. Erwee's contribution of 41 runs off 35 balls was particularly noteworthy, but his dismissal in the 12th over left the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in a precarious position.

However, Aiden Markram continued to hold the fort and brought up his half-century before getting out. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape then suffered a mini-collapse as they lost a few more wickets in quick succession. But, an ecstatic inning from Tristan Stubbs (30 off 18 balls) helped the team chase down the target with 3 balls to spare, leaving the crowd in awe of his performance.

On the other hand, MI Cape Town bowlers put up a valiant effort, with Odean Smith leading the pack with three wickets, while Sam Curran and Rashid Khan contributed two and one wickets, respectively. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape will look to build on this victory and continue their winning streak, while MI Cape Town will aim to bounce back in the next match.
19.3 O Smith to J Fuller
4 FOUR AND HERE YOU GO!! The Sunrisers Eastern Cape have earned their first victory of the tournament. Back of a length delivery just a shade outside the off. Fuller pulls this square of the mid wicket fielder and the cork races away towards the fences. What a thriller we've witnessed but in the hand, the team effort of the Orange Army ends up victorious.
Fuller brings his experience on the show.
19.2 O Smith to J Fuller
4 FOUR!!!! Well!! Well!! Back of a length outside the off and Odean has been taken away for a boundary. Back of a length just outside the off. Fuller weighs back and pats it with hard hands through the gaps between extra cover and mid off. The ball goes through and look at the precision of the shot. Fuller has changed the equation now.

Arijit: Is this the match!! Here's a twist in the tale. Stubbs is walking away as he knows the there's some furniture piece on it.
19.1 O Smith to T Stubbs
W WICKET!!! Has he knicked it? Yes, he has knicked it!!! Short of a length ball on the line of the stumps and Stubbs goes for a pull but gets the faint tickle of the bat as the ball sails straight into the hands of the keeper who takes it easily.
Arijit: What an insane game of cricket we're witnessing. The duo of Stubbs and Jansen are doing it all for the Sunrisers. 5 runs needed off the last over.
