Sikandar Raza(Skipper The Chennai Braves): "I was quite pleased with how we got going. Dawid's appearance was a terrific cameo. Pepper scored two boundaries out of his first three balls. In T10 cricket, these seemingly insignificant details add up a lot. Then there was the Brathwaite finish. Despite having limited franchise cricket experience, Pepper and Dooley performed admirably. All around, the players were strong in the field, bowl, and bat. Hit as many sixes with the bat and strive to exit the over with the fewest number of runs feasible. Take catches in the air as well, perhaps. That is what I would say with regard to cricket's shortest format."
Carlos Brathwaite: "It feels great to have put up such a show, which is honestly unbelievable and incredibly pleasing. It's always satisfying when the effort put in behind the scenes pays off, but it must continue throughout the competition. We had a wonderful practice, all the boys showed up, and there was a positive atmosphere around us. Hopefully, we can maintain this and move forward."

Benny Howell: " We were in a terrific position yesterday, but we didn't finish off at the backend well, so not winning is the start. We simply didn't get off to a good start today; we'll take tomorrow off to relax before returning to finish the game on a high note. The T10 format is rather straightforward; hit more sixes, that'd be wonderful, and prohibit them from hitting more sixes."

Earlier, after deciding to bat first, the Chennai Braves scored 126 runs for the loss of six wickets in 10 overs. Carlos Brathwaite 🔥🔥 was the top scorer for the Braves, as he smashed a quick 44 runs off 19 balls and helped his side score 126 runs. On the flip side, Rohan Mustafa, Shakib Al Hasan, Benny Howell, and Matheesha Pathirana shared one wicket each for the Bangla Tigers.
In response to 126 runs, the Bangla Tigers didn’t get off to a good start as they lost Hazratullah Zazai in the very first over, who went for a duck. Evin Lewis didn’t last long and departed after scoring 4 runs off 2 balls. The Bangla Tigers lost wickets in quick succession and were struggling at 45 for 4 in 4.4 overs.
The Bangla Tigers were losing wickets at regular intervals and could only score 93 runs. Iftikhar Ahmed was the lone warrior for the Tigers, as he scored 49 quick runs off 20 balls and got run out in an unfortunate way.
On the flip side, Carlos Brathwaite scalped 4 wickets giving away just 3 runs in 1.5 overs. Olly Stone scalped a couple of wickets. Raza and Dooley shared one wicket each.

W OUT!! Brathwaite strikes again! Short of length and wide outside off. Rohan Mustafa gets a lot of room and throws his bat, gets an inside edge to chop it back on the stumps. It's all over as the last man is not coming out to bat. Matheesha Pathirana was supposed to come out but there are handshakes all over.
