That is it from the thrilling contest. This is AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my commentator Ayan Chatterjee, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav, brought you all the live action of this mouth-watering contest. We will meet in the next game. Until then, it is cheers!
DJ Bravo (Delhi Bulls Captain): "Very happy for him (talking about Shiraz Ahmed). He bowled really well. I almost spoiled his party but didn't drop the catch in the end. Yeah, with Rovman Powell and the boys batting really hard, scoring runs at a brisk rate, they were infront at one stage. This is the nature of cricket, and I am proud of my boys. T10 cricket is such a format where apart from entertainment, the gameplay is really hard. It is the games of nerves and really proud of the way we played."
Player of the Match: Shiraz Ahmed
Power Hitter of the Match award goes to Tim David.
Magic Moment of the Match award goes to Dominic Drakes.
Kennar Lewis: "It's all about T10 cricket. We should have won this game in the last over, but couldn't do it. I guess we were rusty and that cost us the game for us today. Tomorrow we have another game and hope to bounce back tomorrow. We believe in the boys and hope they do their job. We will definitely bounce back."
9:41 PM IST | Unbelievable scenes here in Abu Dhabi as Delhi Bulls pull off a heist against Northern Warriors to come on top with a 4-run win! Credits to Shiraz Ahmed, boy-o-boy, didn't he bowl exceedingly well to defend 7 runs off the final over? T10 at it's best.

Earlier in the night, Northern Warriors won the toss and opt to field first. Delhi Bulls lost one of their openers, Rilee Rossouw, very early in the mix. But on the other hand, Tom Banton blasted his way through to a 18-ball 38, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. Banton and Jordan Cox added 49 runs for the second wicket, with Cox scoring a run-a-ball 11.

Once both these batters were dismissed, it was Tim David, on his T10 debut, who smoked 42 runs off 18 deliveries with 5 fours and 2 sixes. After he got out in the 9th over, Imad Wasim took the responsibility to finish the innings off with his unbeaten 17 off 9 deliveries to propel the Bulls' total to 119/4 in their allotted 10 overs.

For the Warriors, Junaid Siddique picked up a couple of wickets, while Mohammad Irfan was super with his economical 2-over spell, besides scalping a wicket. Wayne Parnell did pick a wicket but was expensive.

Chasing 120, Delhi Bulls lost both of their openers cheaply inside two overs. While the pressure was on, it was Usman Khan and Rovman Powell who steadied the ship with a 53-run partnership for the third wicket. Powell fell to Gleeson in the 6th over for a quick cameo of 25 from 13 deliveries.

While Usman Khan scored a brilliant 47 off 25 deliveries, Sherfane Rutherford played a dangerous cameo of 26 runs off 12 balls. But in the end, all went in vain as a superb final over from Shiraz Ahmed turned the tables for the Bulls as he picked three wickets and gave away just 1 run.

Apart from Shiraz Ahmed, on the bowling front, Imad Wasim drew the first blood, dismissing the big Kennar Lewis in the first over. Richard Gleeson was excellent with the ball as he picked the wicket of the big fish, Powell, in his full quota, going for only 13 runs. Waqas Maqsood had a wicket under his column but went for 34 runs in his quota of 2 overs. Dominic Drakes and DJ Bravo were expensive for their liking.

Stay tuned for the presentations!

9.6 S Ahmed to M Deyal
W WICKET! Shiraz Ahmed, you are a  beauty.  A low full toss here, Deyal lap sweeps it away and gets it up in the air and the ball has no distance on it. The catch is completed by skipper Dwayne Bravo at short fine leg. He won't drop those as Deyal departs here. The Warriors have been restricted to 115/6 as they go down by 4 runs to the Delhi Bulls. The Bulls have come out of jail to win this.
Akshaya: This match turned on its head. Credits to Shiraz Ahmed for the way he bowled, defending just 7 runs. Need 5 runs now off the last ball.
9.5 S Ahmed to M Deyal
0 Mark Deyal is the new batter here.  Nails the wide yorker here, Deyal swings and misses to the keeper. They appeal for caught behind and they don't get it.  5 runs now off 1 ball.

9.4 S Ahmed to U Khan
W WICKET!  Shiraz gets two in the over.  Fuller length angling in around off, Usman goes for the lap sweep and misses as the ball hits the pads. They appeal and up goes the finger. This looked in front of the stumps as the set batter Usman departs for 47 off 26 balls. GAME ON NOW! 5 runs are needed off 2 balls.
9.3 S Ahmed to L Dawson
1lb Liam Dawson is the new batter here.  Fuller length outside off, Dawson looks to lap it away over the fine leg region. He misses and hits his pads. They appeal but the impact was outside off. They get a leg bye here.
