Wanindu Hasaranga (Kandy Falcons Captain): "We are playing very good cricket throughout the tournament. Bowlers doing their job perfectly and all the batters doing their job perfectly. We have good batters at the death also, like Chamika, Fabian & Ricky so they can hit the ball very hard so my plan is try to bat till the 14th or 15th over then they can go and play their game. Carlos is a very experienced player and has played lot of T20 cricket so he bowled very good lengths. I think that's why he's successful. Specially on this kind of wicket he bowled really good lengths."
Thisara Perera (Jaffna Kings Skipper): "Win or lose it doesn't matter. We need to take the positives from the game. This wicket was 180 one it looked like a chasable score but we didn't bat well. We need to learn from every game."
Fabian Allen (Player of the match): " Yeah it was a bit tricky when I went onto the bat, I just took my time and executed my plans pretty well. We are playing pretty good cricket, credit goes to Carlos he bowled very well. Yeah I know if I execute my plans, I can grab a few wickets."

The Kandy Falcons have strengthened themselves at the top of the points table with 10 points to their name winning their fifth game of the season by 10 runs beating another strong team Jaffna Kings. The Falcons won the toss and decided to bat first on a used surface.
Andre Fletcher got off to another flier with 35 off 22 deliveries hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes but didn't get good support from the middle order. Fabian Allen was at his hitting best and scored 47 off just 23 deliveries with 3 fours and 4 mighty sixes. Chamika Karunaratne hit 18 off 9 to finish at a good total of 160/8.
Dunith Wellalage was the pick of the bowlers with a spell of 4-0-7-2. James Fuller, Waqar Salamkheil and Dilshan Madushanka picked up a couple of wickets apiece. Thisara Perera was economic in his single over spell.
The chase didn't start well for the Kings as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Sadeera Samarawickrama continued his good form and scored 48 off 41, Avishka Fernando was good at the top with 33 off 20 but the other batters didn't score enough with in-form batters Shoaib Malik and Thisara Perera failing to score big.
Carlos Brathwaite was again the star with the ball picking up figures of 4/18. Wanindu Hasaranga, the skipper bowled a terrific spell of 2/21 getting rid of Malik and Samarawickrama at crucial junctures. Fabian Allen (1/22) again was excellent with the bowl with Isuru Udana bowling a good spell of 1/27 contributing to a healthy win.
