That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do join us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer Chandan Singh. Bye bye. Good Night.
Angelo Mathews (Colombo Stars Captain): "It was a bit of a challenge for us. Playing four days in a row was not easy mentally and physically. But credit to the boys. We have 20 runs extra but the batters stepped up. It is draining with the dew coming in. It is tough to hit the wet ball and when the seam gets wet, it is really difficult. Chandimal is batting very well and when I come to bat lower down the order, it helps us. Benny is playing well and Ravi and Seekkuge also stepped up tonight."
Kusal Mendis (Galle Gladiators Captain): "There was dew around and 193 was a good score, but we made a few mistakes. It was challenging for our bowlers. We batted well but could have got 10-15 runs. Some fielding lapses also hurt us, but this can happen and we will look to iron out the flaws and come back stronger. Great game of cricket and hope to bounce back in the next game."
Ravi Bopara (Player of the Match): "The platform was set and we had to go at 12 runs per over. So we had only one way to go. I think it was always within our reach. There was one over of Wahab and he is a tough bowler to hit. But it was our day and happy to get across the line. I was not feeling well this morning. But at 12, I felt good and was ready to go tonight."
Ravi Bopara is named the Player of the Match.
Time for the post-match presentation.
Akshay | 23:22 IST: That’s it. Take a bow Ravi Bopara. He finishes things in style. What a chase this has been from the Colombo Stars. With 56 required from the last five overs, the Stars get across the line on the last ball with two wickets in hand. What a game we just witnessed. The Stars were out of the contest but cameos from the lower-order batters help them chase down the total successfully.

Chasing 194, the Stars didn’t have the best of starts as they lost Niroshan Dickwella in the second over. Charith Asalanka joined Dinesh Chandimal and both started building a partnership. Chandimal took on the Gladiators and played some fantastic shots inside the powerplay. They raced to 53 at the end of the powerplay. The 92-run stand was broken when Chandimal departed on a 33-ball 63 to Wahab Riaz. It helped the Gladiators get back in the game.

The bowlers bowled tight lines in the middle overs. The pressure was building and Asalanka fell on 46 while trying to up the ante. Benny Howell played a brilliant cameo of 22 off 9 balls before getting dismissed in the 16th over. Ravi Bopara and Seekkuge Prasanna (14 off 6) hit some lusty blows in the end and took the game to the last over. With eight required in the last over, the Gladiators lost two wickets but the calm head of Bopara helped them get across the line on the last ball. Bopara remained unbeaten on 31 off just 12 balls to help his side grab their second win of the competition. Nuwan Thushara and Anwar Ali picked up three wickets each for the Gladiators but it wasn't enough as they failed to defend the total.

Earlier, the Galle Gladiators were asked to bat first. Openers in Thanuka Dabare and Kusal Mendis gave them a fantastic start as they both put 51 between them before the former getting departed on 33. Lahiru Udara joined Mendis and looked good but was dismissed on 24 in the 12th over. Asad Shafiq walked out to bat and took the momentum away from the Stars.

The Stars were taken apart in the middle overs by the duo of Mendis and Shafiq. Both played some beautiful strokes and brought up their respective fifties. They put 88 between them and it allowed them to create a platform to finish on a high. Shafiq and Mendis fell on 58 and 72 respectively but not before helping their side get close to 200. The Gladiators posted 193 on the board. Naveen-ul-Haq for the Stars picked up two wickets. The game went down to the wire and the Stars held their nerves to finish on the winning side. Stick around for the post-match presentation.

4 FOUR! Short of a length and in the slot, Bopara picks it up and pulls it away into the gap over the midwicket region as the ball races away to the midwicket fence. A crucial win for the Colombo Stars as they beat the Galle Gladiators by 2 wickets off the final ball of the innings to get two crucial points.

This is getting interesting. The umpires are having a chat and they have sent it upstairs to check for a potential no ball for height. The replays are in and it is just below the shoulder. The third umpire signals it as fair delivery and Lakshan departs.
19.4 A Ali to M Lakshan
W Short of a length here, Lakshan looks for the pull and top edges it straight up in the air. Sandakan runs in and overruns it to take the catch. Oh, wait a minute they are checking for the no-ball on height. Replays show that it's a fair delivery. The game turns again here. 2 runs are needed off 2 balls now.
2 from 3 now.
19.3 A Ali to M Lakshan
0 Short of a length bouncer, Lakshan plays and misses to the keeper.
