That’s a wrap from our side as well. I hope you enjoyed our live coverage. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Tugral Azmi and Scorer/Analyst Zeeshan Naiyer, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌✌
Temba Bavuma received the trophy and will pose for the photographs along with his teammates.
Temba Bavuma (South Africa Captain): "Really happy with that. Came in with a lot of World Cup point pressure. We did ourselves and a great team justice. We've pushed ourselves, learned a lot, and gained a lot of assurance in our approach. Guys expressing themselves on the ground. Attempting to be optimistic. How cricket is played in England. Without hitters, we have observed anything unusual. The series checked several criteria. Guys will continue to play in this style because they want it to become ingrained in our society. in Test Cricket as well. winning the main series. I'm ecstatic for the team and am once more identifying the holes. Standing here, Captain, I'm in a good mood."
Jos Buttler (England Captain, player of the match&series): "Nice to end the day with a victory, other than the final 10-15 overs of the first game's chase, we played some excellent cricket today. It was amazing that after being 20 for 3, both teams decided to bowl first. They struck quickly, formed a partnership, and went on to make 346. The restrictions weren't huge, and we knew we could make up for them later with the depth and power-hitters we possessed, so we figured we'd try to forge a partnership and things would eventually get better. Jofra was brilliant, both with the new ball and in the back end; his dismissal of Klaasen was the game-changing moment.

We have a great roster, we have a solid team dynamic, and we are preparing for the World Cup in India later this year. Many of the men have played a lot of cricket and are leaders themselves. We have men departing for the Test series in New Zealand, the ILT20 conclusion in Dubai, and the SA20, respectively. We are eager to reunite as a team for the Bangladesh series."

12:12 AM IST | Deepak: Jofra Archer 💥has returned at his best. Yes, you heard it right, Jofra Archer scalped 6 wickets and helped his side to break the losing streak. England crushed South Africa by 59 runs in the third ODI match but South Africa wins the series by 2-1.🙌

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, England got off to a shaky start as they lost three wickets in quick succession and were struggling at 14/3 in the 6th over. Skipper Buttler and Dawid Malan took responsibility to steady the ship and the pair succeeded in their mission as both of them completed their century on the occasion and forged a partnership of 232 runs for the 4th wicket as Malan departed after scoring a brilliant 118 runs. Jos Buttler departed after scoring 131 runs and a quick inning from Moeen Ali (41 off 23) has helped  England post a mammoth 346 runs on the board. England added 217 runs in the last 20 overs. On the other hand, Lungi Ngidi was the standout performer for the Proteas as he scalped four wickets in his 10 overs spell.

In pursuit of England’s mammoth 346 runs, South Africa got off to a decent start as both their openers Temba Bavuma and Reeza Hendricks were in sublime touch today but their progress was halted when skipper Temba Bavuma departed for 35 runs in the 9th over. South Africa managed to post 55 runs for the loss of one wicket in the first powerplay.

Rassie van der Dussen came out to bat at number three but today he failed to impress with the bat and gave away his wicket to Archer in the 12th over. Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram tried to steady the ship but their progress was halted when Reeza Hendricks was clean-bowled by Adil Rashid in the 19th over. Reeza Hendricks failed to convert his half-century into a big inning and departed after scoring 52 runs off 61 balls.

Aiden Markram was in sublime touch today but his efforts were cut short when he departed for 39 runs in the 26th over. He was soon followed by David Miller and Marco Jansen and South Africa were 6 down for 193 in the 31st over.

Heinrich Klaasen and Wayne Parnell took responsibility to score briskly and Klaasen was striking cleanly today but he failed to bat till the end and departed after scoring a crucial 80 runs off just 62 balls. South Africa lost their last few wickets in quick succession and were bundled out for 287 runs.

On the other hand, Jofra Archer was the standout bowler for England as he scalped 6 wickets. Adil Rashid chipped in with three wickets and Chris Woakes contributed one wicket in South Africa’s downfall.

Overall it was a dominant performance by the visitors but Temba Bavuma-led South Africa impressed their fans with an all-round performance in this series and wins the series by 2-1.

Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony...
