That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Akshay Bhide here, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Do join us for more cricketing action all around the globe. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Meg Lanning (Australia Women Skipper): "A great game today. Our bowlers set up things nicely. Grace Harris did an excellent job before Mooney and Healy stepped up to chase down the total comfortably.

People standing up at different times. Gracey hasn't bowled in the last game but stepping up today was an example of it. It's important for the players to step up and deliver. The conditions are different. There is more turn in the afternoon than in the evening.

Looking forward to the game against South Africa. They have got world-class players and are very good at home. We will take a rest tomorrow and come back harder on Saturday. The support has been incredible and just hope that it keeps coming."
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Skipper): "Given that we are aware of Australia's strong batting lineup, we had to score 150 or more runs on this wicket. We tried our best to score runs in the powerplay.  We are not batting well in the middle overs, couldn't execute our plans.

They batted really well, they executed their plans. Against a side like this, we had to get early wickets, but we were unable to do so. We have a good chance to change history in the upcoming game, but we won't feel any pressure and will instead just play our natural game freely. We will do our best to play positive cricket."
Alyssa Healy (Player of the Match): "Tough going at times but nice to get a win and points. We complement each other very well. Also, the right-left combination helps us. I saw a bit of green on the pitch that is on the side. I guess we will play against South Africa on that wicket. We are ready to face them on that surface. The wicket has played very well. It has played true throughout the game and we are happy to get across the line unscathed. We have got the likes of Jess Jonassen sitting out on the bench. That shows the strength of our squad. Even Grace Harris was good with the ball and we are heading in the right direction."
Alyssa Healy is named the Player of the Match.
09:13 PM IST | Akshay: That’s it. Australia Women make it three in three. They have thrashed Sri Lanka Women today as they chase down a modest total with 10 wickets in hand. Sri Lanka Women have been totally outplayed today by the defending champions and suffer their first loss of the competition.

Chasing 113, Australia Women got off to a very good start. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney took their time and once they got their eye in, they started playing their strokes. They scored 37 at the end of the powerplay. The Lankan bowlers tried hard but failed to break the opening stand. Both batters hit odd boundaries and kept the required run rate under control.

The Asian side had no answers to the opening pair of the Southern Stars. Both Healy and Mooney played some fantastic shots and brought up their respective fifties. Healy and Mooney remained unbeaten on 54 and 56 respectively as they guided their side across the line in the 16th over.

Sri Lanka Women were asked to bat first and they had a good start to their innings. Harshitha Madavi and Chamari Athapaththu played some good shots up front. Just when the partnership was building, Athapaththu miscued one and departed on 16. This allowed the Southern Stars to pull back things. The spinners bowled in the middle overs and put a lid on the scoring rate.

The boundaries dried up in the middle phase. Harshitha and Vishmi Gunaratne fell on 34 and 24 respectively. The Australian bowlers bowled brilliantly and never allowed the Lankan batters to get away. Sri Lanka Women kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually finished their innings on 112/8.

Megan Schutt was the standout bowler for Australia as she finished with figures of 4/24 in her four overs. Grace Harris also chipped in with a couple of scalps. Stick around for the post-match presentation.
