16:24pm IST| So, this is a wrap from our side. Western Australia are the Marsh cup 2022-23 champions and this is me, Saptak Sanyal signing off alongside my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Hope you have enjoyed our live coverage. Stay tuned for more cricketing actions around the globe.
Ashton Turner (Western Australia Captain): "Yes, you are right. We played great cricket for the last few seasons. Finally playing at Perth and play here play our best cricket to win has been amazing to see. The squad mentality and the depth is amazing. It shows a good level. Some guys miss out as always which is tough and we put out our playing XI. Thanks to Jake and Jason for their efforts. Look forward to the next season.

To Cricket Australia and umpires, thanks for the smooth conduct of the matches throughout. To the sponsors, thanks for being a part of the tournament. The WACA event staff and administrators and back room staff are to be credited for the smooth conduct of the match.

Last but not the least, thanks to the crowd for their continued support and we value them a lot."
Adam Voges (Western Australia Coach): "Magnificent performance and incredibly proud about the team. Incredibly led by Ashton Turner, and the way Inglis played was great to see. The drive within the team is to get better and the hunger is out there to do well. We are incredibly lucky to have a team like this and may we continue to do well."
The winning team is getting their individual winning medals.
Jake Lehmann (South Australia Captain): "I am proud of my boys. We will be back stronger next season. WA is a powerhouse I always believe. We follow you. The squad you got is amazing. Enjoy the night with friends and families."
Josh Inglis: "Yes, I loved it out there and the way I struck the ball. Cameron helped me a lot in the tough times and then got going. They bowled well initially and then we came back well. Nice to win the title at home in front of family and friends. Thanks to all for coming out here."
Josh Inglis is the Player of the Match.
Josh Philippe: "Yes, amazing year. My role is to open the batting and I have done well. Incredible to win the final and being part of the team at home. It's special."
Josh Philippe wins the Player of the Tournament award.
The match officials are now getting their respective mementos.
Time for the presentations.
When Kelvin Smith and Henry Hunt came to chase the 387 run target, they reached 47 from the first four overs and it was looking like they would go for the target at ease. Even after the end of the first powerplay, South Australia was 74-0. Right then, Andrew Tye and Ashton Agar started their spells and things turned out to be in Western team's favour. Tye scalped the first wicket by removing Smith and then Agar removed Henry Hut who just completed his half century.
After that within just 19 balls, South Australia came down to 122-5 from 102-1 and that was the game. The lower order became exposed, the team was unable to cope up with the turning duo of Agar-Turner and fell like a pack of cards. Only Nathan McAndrew did some bat swing to score 26 ball 42 before he gave a simple catch to long on off Turner. Harry Nielsen was the last recognized batter left then, he also fell cheaply for 15. The team got bundled out for 206, losing the game by 181 runs.
It was all bowler's game in the second half as Ashton Agar picked 5 and Andrew Tye and Ashton Turner took 3 and 2 respectively. But in the first half, Western Australia batters totally dominated their opposition as Jos Inglis scored a fabulous century of 138 runs and Cameron Bancroft well supported him for his 90.  Mitchell Marsh scored a no time 56 and with the finishing touch of Aaron Hardie(23*) and Ashton Agar(26), Western team posted a mammoth total of 387.
Some crucial catch misses, batting failure and moreover, the brilliance of Western Australia cricketers cost South Australia the game and the trophy.
31.4 A Agar to S Johnson
W That's the wicket to ensure the title victory for Western Australia. Johnson charged down the track but the ball was on hard length, outside off. Missed the swing and the keeper easily stumped him. 181 run victory for Western Australia, that's massive and clinical.
31.3 A Agar to S Johnson
4 Another four here! Johnson lifts the full ball, on same line over mid on for a four.
31.2 A Agar to S Johnson
4 Welcome boundary to get past 200. Johnson smashes the full ball, outside off through covers for a boundary.
31.1 A Agar to H Thornton
1 Full, on middle and heaved to leg side for a single.
