That's it from the third Ashes ODI and a fantastic Ashes series. Australia win the tour but not the ODI series.

Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorer Ashok Dayma. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Healy collects the Ashes trophy from the ECB chairman and joins her teammates to pose for the photographs. The celebrations begin as the fireworks go off.
Alyssa Healy (Australia Captain): "It is pleasing. Little bit bittersweet but we got the result we were after retaining the Ashes.

I have actually never been the leader in the gap. When you look at the world tournaments we just win key moments but at times in this series, we haven't. England are playing some great positive cricket at the moment that could win you games. If you look at world cricket Sri Lanka is beating New Zealand and Bangladesh is beating India.

Being able to give the young players in the big moments like the Ashes series. They get to play high level of cricket in front of the crowd is amazing. It will do the whole game good. I back their abilities.

Its been a great opportunity, I am really humbled. Doing throughout a hectic schedule was tough but the girls and the support staff backed me and I am grateful for their support."
Ashleigh Gardner (Player of the Ashes, AUS): "Its probably the consistency I am looking for. England outplayed us but its nice to contribute individually but sadly the series didn't go according to the plan.

We came over here to win the Ashes and retaining it is great. There are plenty of things to improve and work on for the next series. We need to find the fighting series which we lacked but showed a little of it. England outplayed us.

You need to trust the training you have done and your skill as well. We train a lot and the skill doesn't come over a day. Just backing that and knowing your teammates support you as well helps.

You gotta understand the balance of all three skills on the day. It comes with maturity as well and consistency as well. Its putting a lot of time in training on all three aspects and find that balance knowing what works for you individually."
Ashleigh Gardner is Australia's player of the Ashes!
Nat Sciver-Brunt (Player of the Ashes, ENG): "The knee thing was a bit troubling. In the Test match, there were some emotional times when I tried to contribute to the team and try to win games for the country.

I don't really like to think about the bigger picture. I try to stay in the present. Maybe I analyze it a bit on which areas to improve. But happy with my performances in this Ashes series.

Being able to win the T20 and ODI series has cemented that belief. But not in the pressure moments. We are not at the top where we want to be but we have taken some steps in the good direction."
Nat Sciver-Brunt is England's Player of the Ashes!
Heather Knight receives the ODI Winner Trophy from the ECB chairman and celebrates along with her teammates. They pose for the photographers with the trophy.
Heather Knight (England Captain): "Hugely pleased. We got 2 trophies against the world champions which is quite special. Credit to the group and to the crowd who come up to support us. The way the journey turned out is special, though not winning the Ashes is tough.  The way the group has turned it round after the Ageas Bowl, it was a pretty quiet bus journey on the way here because there was a lot of emotion and disappointment that the Ashes had slipped away, but credit to the group and staff. We really turned up today. We wanted to entertain and inspire the crowd, we owed that to everyone. I'm very impressed with how the girls did that. Hugely impressed by how the girls performed and happy with the win.

The fact we'd gone so close in the Test and first T20 built more belief. It was just about staying level but accepting that we could do a lot about it because we very close. We knew we had the players to compete with this very good side. The staff deserve a huge amount of credit for keeping us believing. The turnaround has been hugely impressive and I think there is a lot of leaders in the group and credit to them.

Today was as close as playing our best match. Players like Nat are at the top of their game, now it is about trying to get better, keep improving. The mentality is right, it is about executing better. We have got a lot of experience in the team.

The points system is quite tricky. The same happened to us when we were in Australia. Not sure, but little bit harder to win them and not retain the Ashes. Maybe about right, but maybe can have an odd number of points for one of the series, not sure.

The crowd has given us a lift when we needed. The amount of effort from the ECB, the way it has been marketed is the way to go."
Nat-Sciver Brunt (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): "I was trying to take ball by ball today. I came out to bat in difficult conditions and I tried to build a partnership along with Heather after they got two quick wickets.

We couldn't be any more proud of ourselves. We are trying to entertain the crowd and they have come out in numbers. So happy with the effort.

We have always got a good reception here in Taunton. Just to have that atmosphere helps us while taking the field. Hopefully, they will come out to watch us at the end of the summer.

I'm really tired now and glad that I didn't have to bowl another spell. But will recover after having some off days."
Player of the Match and Player of the Series: Nat Sciver-Brunt
12:24 AM IST, 7:54 PM Local time: England win by 69 runs winning the ODI series 2-1, leveling the multi-format Ashes series 8-8 at Taunton. The encounter was hit by rain reducing the second innings to 44 overs and the target to 269.

England deposited 285/9 in their 50 overs on the back of Nat Sciver-Brunt's second consecutive ODI century (129), Heather Knight's 67 and Danni Wyatt's explosive 43 in 25 balls after put in to bat first losing the toss. Ash Gardner (3/39) and Jess Jonassen (3/30) shared six wickets amongst them for Australia.

Australia failed to get to a good start losing their openers inside 2.1 overs, a start similar to what England got in the first innings. The English third wicket pair added 147 runs and the pressure was again on the experienced duo of Ellyse Perry and Tahlia McGrath. Sophie Ecclestone broke the 53 run stand deceiving McGrath in flight with Amy Jones affecting a great stumping.

Rain interrupted the game for around an hour with six overs being taken out of the innings and the target revised to 269. The senior pair of Perry and Beth Mooney added 45 runs for the fourth wicket but Perry was dismissed by Kate Cross after getting past her half century.

Beth Mooney soon departed getting out to Cross in her next over. Ashleigh Gardner batting at number 6 played a counterattacking knock hitting 41 in 24 balls with 3 fours and a couple of sixes but was run out at the non striker's end while pushing for a couple.

Annabel Sutherland (18) and Georgia Wareham (14) tried to take them closer to the total but the target was beyond the reach with Australia slumping down due to lack of partnerships. Kate Cross (3/48) was the pick of the bowlers with Charlie Dean (2/37), Lauren Bell (2/53), Sophie Ecclestone (1/21) and the centurion Nat Sciver-Brunt (1/34) hunting in packs to keep getting wickets at regular intervals.

Stay tuned as we come back with the post Ashes presentation.
That's it. England win the 3rd ODI and seal the series by a 2-1 margin. Australia Women lose an ODI series for the first time since 2013.

The Ashes series is leveled at 8-8 but it will be the Southern Stars who will take away the urn.
35.3 C Dean to J Jonassen
W IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! A flighted delivery on length from around the wicket pitching just outside the off stump. Jonassen goes for a swing across the line taking a big forward stride and gets a top edge flying towards Lauren Bell at short third man! Extraordinary cricket from England as they win the ODI series and level the Ashes series 8-8.
35.2 C Dean to M Schutt

35.1 C Dean to J Jonassen
