That's it from the second T20I and the third match in the multi-format women's Ashes. This is Ninaad Dixit, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world!
Heather Knight (England Captain): "What a game of cricket that was. A packed house and I looked around and soaked it. We still have some areas to improve.

I feel the wicket was a bit tricky and Danni played a wonderful knock. She made full use of her experience tonight. Also, some good striking by Sophie in the end. Dean can bowl at any stage of the game and that's her strength.

We are taking one game at a time. We know the equation is simple. Win every game. Hopefully, we will get another good crowd support at Lord's and hopefully, we will finish on the winning side."
Alyssa Healy (Australia Captain): "It was a pretty good effort to get that close to the target after we lost our way while chasing. We are allowed to lose games, right? But nice to get that close to the target.

We failed to execute while bowling and we moved away from the plans. The wicket was good for batting. It will be great to play at the Lord's and we are looking forward to bouncing back in the next game."
Danni Wyatt: "Delighted with the win and to contribute. Proper team effort in front of a massive crowd. Hopefully we get another one at Lord's.

It was a bit tricky to bat on. It came on nicer under lights.
We did really well to get 186. Everyone contributed nicely.

You've just got to be brave. It is T20. You got to back yourself and the runs will follow. Once the ball was through the infield, it was four. The crowds have been so good. They've really got behind us."

1:41 AM IST, 9:11 PM Local time: England keep themselves alive in the Ashes series winning the second T20I and the third match in the multi-format series in the final over by a small margin of 3 runs!

Chasing a steep total of 187, the Australia opening pair of skipper Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney added 59 runs in 41 balls with Mooney scoring 22 and Healy 37. Wickets fell in four consecutive overs (7th to 10th) putting the visitors on the backseat tottering at 75/4.

Number 5 batter Ellyse Perry then took it to herself taking the game ahead and adding 21, 29 and 35 for the 5th, 6th and 7th wickets respectively alongside Grace Harris, Annabel Sutherland and Georgia Wareham.

Sutherland hit 20 in 12 balls with 4 fours and Wareham scored 19 in 11 balls with a four and a couple of sixes but both the teams fought well to get back in the game while tottering with England getting over the edge.

Sophie Ecclestone bowled a tremendous final over with 20 runs needed in the final over and conceded just 4 runs including a leg bye and took Jess Jonassen's wicket before conceding 12 runs on the final 2 balls of the match with 16 needed off 2 balls.

Ecclestone got her 100th and 101st T20I wicket and became the youngest female player to get to the mark. Perry finished unbeaten at 51 getting to her half century on the final ball of the innings. Sarah Glenn (2/27), Danielle Gibson (1/15), Charlie Dean (1/41) and Lauren Bell (1/45) were the other wicket takers besides Ecclestone's 2/35 in this high scoring encounter,.

England now have 2 points with Australia still ahead in the multi-format series by a margin of 6-2.

Perry brings up her fifty of just 27 balls but it won't be enough as Australia fall short by three runs.

6 SIX MORE!! Ellyse Perry gets to her fifty as well but England steal a victory! Length ball on middle stump. Perry advances down the track, gets underneath and smashes this high and long over the long on fence to clear the ropes!
10 required from 1 now.
19.5 S Ecclestone to E Perry
6 SIX!! A little too late from Perry! Length ball on the stumps. Perry uses her feet, gets to the pitch of the ball and whips this in the air. The ball lands very close to the skirting but Danni Wyatt running towards it from deep midwicket signals six.
16 from 2 now. Two legal deliveries and England will be home.
19.4 S Ecclestone to E Perry
