Sachin and Naman gave a solid start to the India Legends with Sachin making a quick 40 run off the 20 balls and Naman scoring 20 runs off the 17 balls he faced. Sachin got caught out by Schofield on his bowling and Naman got caught out by James Tindall on the bowling of S Parry. Then came in the first down batsman, Suresh Raina who scored 12 runs off the 8 balls he faced and then got caught out to bell on the bowl of S Parry. The second down batsman, Yusuf Pathan played a very crucial role with the bat and scored a quick 27 runs off the 11 balls he faced. Then came Yuvraj Singh who played blast innings of 31 runs off just 15 balls he faced. Binny was run out after he scored 18 runs and the last batsman Irfan scored 11 runs off the 9 balls he faced.

Mascarenhas scored 12 runs and was then bowled by Pawar. The other opener, Mustard scored the best figures for England in this match, scoring 29 runs off the 19 balls he faced. Then, Ian Bell the captain of the side played a very slow inning of 12 runs in the 13 balls he faced. Clarke also scored just 9 runs off the 6 balls. Ambrose the next batsman played a quick inning of 16 runs off 11 balls. Tindall couldn't make it big and walked back with just 2 runs in his account. Schofield and Tremlett remained unbeaten with 19 and 24 runs respectively.
