Harsh: A third consecutive win for Sri Lanka Legends this season, as they won this nailbiting encounter by 11 runs. It was the 55 runs in the last 4 overs that gave a perfect finish to the Sri Lankan innings and managed to put up a target of 166 which was a fightable total.
South Africa didn't have a good start they lost their first wicket in the second over only. Puttick got out on a good length delivery of Dilshan. Van Wyk was the key architect of the South African Legends inning as he played a superb inning of 76 runs in 56 deliveries. None of the batsmen other than Van Wyk went beyond the score of 30 runs for South African Legends. Petersen stayed there for a time but didn't manage to score high as he got out in search of the boundary. He scored 22 runs in 22 deliveries.
