That's it from the Legends League Cricket season 2 and from our coverage from this game and the tournament. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Shashank Surly and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. Hope you enjoyed our coverage, stay tuned for more cricket action from across the globe.
Gautam Gambhir collects the winner's cheque and the WINNING TROPHY!
Gautam Gambhir (India Capitals Skipper): "The second half of the competition got competitive which was good for us and the viewers as well. When they come back the next season the players will be better in terms of fitness and their plans as well. If you are retired from domestic cricket and are not getting picked in the IPL then you can come here and play but first class cricket is the most important format for me. I was thinking if we can get 140-150 we are in the game but the way these 2 guys batted getting us over 200 was just brilliant."
Champion team India Capitals will receive their medals.
Irfan Pathan (Losing Captain): "All the four teams did really well this contest, most people though these old peoples will come here and have fun and return home, it wasn't like that, all teams gave great fight and its been well organized, even with female umpires officiating. It has been demanding to play in this competition, thanks to all our physiotherapists for getting us ready and looking after us well. Gautam's team did well to recover, we didn't bowl well after the start we got, we will look to become a better side next season. I am looking forward to play for some more season. I congratulate Gautam Gambhir and India Capitals for winning the cup, he has led the side brilliantly."
The runner ups Bhilwara Kings are receiving their medals.
Power-hitter of the tournament: Ashley Nurse
Yusuf Pathan: "I really enjoyed batting on such a good wicket. All the teams were putting efforts so happy to perform. I enjoy playing with Irfan, we never really played franchise cricket together, we played domestic and international together but playing with him in the franchise circuit for the first time and making it to the finals is a good feeling."
Yusuf Pathan is the Legend of the Tournament!
Ross Taylor (Legend of the Match): "It was a tricky situation when we were 21/4, was looking to bat well and it was great to see Mitchell Johnson come out and him doing really well did my job easy. He has been a great player for Australia. My batting has been coming nicely in this tournament and had spent some time training before coming to this contest. It has been great to catch up with some of my Kiwi mates here in this tournament."
Ross Taylor is the Legend of the Match!
Time for the post-match ceremony.
A resolute batting effort from Ross Taylor, Mitchell Johnson and Ashley Nurse. Combined effort from all the bowlers and brilliant captaincy from the man of the finals Gautam Gambhir have ensured the India Capitals their maiden title at the Legends League Cricket as they win the finals by 104 runs.

The Bhilwara Kings had a great start to the game after winning the toss and electing to bowl first with their spinners Monty Panesar and Rahul Sharma wreaking havoc in the powerplay with 4 quick wickets. The experienced Kiwi batter Ross Taylor (82) and Mitchell Johnson (62) who got a promotion in the lineup added 126 runs for the fifth wicket. Some fireworks from Ashley Nurse in the death overs provided the important impetus and allowed the Capitals to go past 200.

Rahul Sharma (4/30), Monty Panesar (2/13) and Tim Bresnan (1/11) bowled excellent spells but other bowlers were pretty expensive. Yusuf Pathan was having a bad day with the ball and also conceded 30 runs off Taylor in a single over.

In reply the Kings didn't get a solid start as they lost 3 wickets in the powerplay and kept losing important wickets at regular intervals. Shane Watson (27) was the top scorer and was looking in good touch before being involved in a run out due to suffering a hamstring niggle.

Jesal Karia played some good strokes but Liam Plunkett got the better of him in the 11th over when he and Watson added 32 runs for the 4th wicket, the highest stand of the innings. Pawan Suyal, Pankaj Singh and Pravin Tambe all picked up a couple of wickets each. Tambe also became the tournament's highest wicket taker with his second scalp.

This is the third time India Capitals have beaten the Bhilwara Kings in this tournament, skipper Gautam Gambhir is all smiles as he adds another trophy to his cabinet. Stay tuned as we bring you the post match presentation.
18.2 R Bhatia to T Best
W IT'S ALL OVER HERE IN JAIPUR!! A typical number 11 dismissal from Tino Best, Bhatia pushes it on a good length and bit slower, around middle stump, Best lobs it straight back to the bowler, probably the easiest of catches Rajat Bhatia has taken in his whole career, and the India Capitals have pulled out a massive heist today as they have gone on from being 21/4 at one stage to win the contest by 104 runs and become champions.
18.1 R Bhatia to T Best
0 Quick glove work, deceived in flight, full on fourth stump line, Best reaches for the ball, misses his drive, and the keeper is quick to whip the bails. The backfoot was well planted in the crease and the umpire doesn't go upstairs.
