Ross Taylor ( New Zealand Skipper ): "I think the toss was very important today. We got off to a good start with Mills right up top. Mills set the tone for us and the first 3-4 overs were fantastic. Unfortunately, Styris did his hammy and this was the reason he walked off. It was nice to get the free hit and that helped me cut loose today. We got a big game next up against INDIA, We are up for it now. It is always massive to play against India and it was fantastic to win here today."
Mohammad Sharif (Skipper Bangladesh Legends): " I think toss played a very crucial role in the game. They played very well cricket, we batted well after an early collapse but it was not enough for us. Bangladesh Legends were asked to bat first in a rain-curtailed game as they managed to score 98 runs in their 11 overs. Alok Kapali and Ghosh were the stand-out batters for the Bangladesh Legends as they smashed 83 runs together which helped them massively to reach the total they did. Ghosh was the top scorer as he managed to score 41 runs.
