So thank you all for joining us for this coverage. Not an exciting game but there was certainly some squash buckling moments from the Canterbury Kings' end as they cruised to an empathic win.

We will be back with more cricketing action, until then do take care of yourself as this is Meg and Wali signing off!
Cole McConchie (Canterbury Kings Captain): "Yes, really pleased with the performance. T20 is all about momentum and we still gave a couple of games left where we have to win. Chad’s been in a sensational touch in the entire tournament. He was outstanding today along with Carter."
Chad Bowes (Gamechanger of the match): " Lovely to get some runs early and set up the platform. I just went out and whacked it. I was trying to stick with the format and be consistent. The partnership was really good with Carter. The left-right combination worked really well."
Chad Bowes is the Gamechanger of the match.

So that’s that and it’s the Canterbury Kings that have steamrolled the Central Stags to a secure comprehensive win by 56 Runs.

Batting first the Kings lost an early wicket as Ken McClure was dismissed for not by Bevan Small. However, that by no means stopped Chad Bowes as he continued his good run of form with the bat and powered his way through a dominant 89 (52). Bowes struck 12 fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 171.15 before getting stumped to Ajaz Patel. The opening batter accumulated a 104 run partnership with Leo Carter that provided Canterbury with the platform of posting a big first innings total.

Carter started off slow and gave Bowes majority of the strike at the beginning but steadily came onto to his element as the inning went by. Carter took his knock to the next gear once Bowes departed and eventually ended up scoring a quickfire 70 (45) at a strike rate of 155.55 with eight boundaries and a six to his name. The skipper’s cameo of 20 (15) also came in handy as the the Kings got to 189/3 from 20 overs of play.

For the Stags it was Ajaz Patel who was the pick of the bowlers courtesy his spell of 1/27 from four.

The run chase began in a horrid manner for the Central Stags as they lost four wickets for 30 runs in just 5 overs. Bayley Wiggins and Will Young were both dismissed, caught behind by William O’Rourke for 2 (3) and 0 (2) respectively. Bevan Small had to walk back for 1 (3) after getting out LBW by Foulkes, while Ben Smith departed for 19 (18) as Ed Nuttall chipped in.

Tom Bruce did try to put in a fight with his 27 (19) but it was Nuttal who struck with his second wicket of the game.

It was William Clark who topped the charts for his side with a ….. But it was of no avail as the rest of the batters didn’t have much to offer throughout the course of the game.

Zakaray Foulkes led the pack with his spell of 3/22 from four overs, while William O’Rourke, and Ed Nuttal also impressed with two wickets apiece. Agnus McKenzie and Todd Astle chipped in with a wicket each.

19.6 W ORourke to W Clark
0 THAT'S IT! A comprehensive victory for the Kings. ORourke ends the proceedings with a well-executed yorker just wide of off stump, Clark fails to dig that out as the ball passes to the keeper. So, the Canterbury Kings defeated Stags by a massive margin of 58 runs.
19.5 W ORourke to W Clark
6 SIXX! Fuller and in the slot, Clark clears his front leg and launches that towards deep mid-wicket as the ball sails over the fence for a maximum.
19.4 W ORourke to W Clark
0 Good length again and angling into the right-hander, Clark shuffles and goes for a ramp but wears that on the pads that rolls to the keeper, no run.
19.3 W ORourke to W Clark
2lb Good length and angling into the middle, Clark goes for a heave but gets some pad on that as the ball rolls past the keeper for a couple of the leg byes.
19.2 W ORourke to W Clark
2 A yorker on the blockhole, Clark bends low and digs that out to deep mid-wicket to scamper back for another couple.
19.1 W ORourke to W Clark
2 Fuller and slower on the pads, Clark rolls his wrists and angles that to deep square leg to sneak in a couple.

18.6 Z Foulkes to R Toole
0 Much fuller and outside off, Toole propels that straight to mid-off for a dot to end the penultimate over.
18.5 Z Foulkes to R Toole
0 A sharp bumper and on the top of off, Toole ducks under that one for a dot.
18.4 Z Foulkes to J Lennox
W DRAGGED ON! The Kings are just another wicket away now from a victory. Back of a length and angled that into the top of the middle, Lennox makes room and goes for a half-hearted uppercut. The southpaw wears that on inner half of his bat that rolls back and crashes the stumps.
