That’s a wrap from our side as well. What an incredible performance we were witnessing today from both teams. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and Scorer/Analyst Raju Khariya, I, Tugral Azmi, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌
Hamish Rutherford (Otago Volts Captain): "I think I am not so sure. We should have defended 18 runs and almost did it. We did well to hold on here. 170 was par and was happy to get there. Dean and Johnson were great and got us to a good total. I think we have to improve in the first few overs with the bat and the first 10 overs with the bat. I think we are getting there and hope to improve in the next few games."
Robert O Donnell (Auckland Aces Captain): "Could be. He deserves the credit. Great game. Par score. could have won it, but did well to tie that. Foxcraft did well and it was tough to get going. I think we are improving. The surface was great and it was a great game. The guys are getting there and hope to do well in the coming games."
Dean Foxcraft (Gamechanger of the Match): "Yes, it's a great game. It was full-on entertainment. Loads of preparation. Taking it game by game and working on my preparation. I felt 165 would be par. But Johnson played some great shots and got to 170+. We are well-positioned and hope to improve from here."
9:40 AM IST | That's it, the match has been tied. A sensational game comes to an end and what a close encounter we were witnessing today. A brilliant inning from Sean Solia who helped his side to close to the target.

Earlier in the day, the Volts suffered a collapse of early wickets and were reeling at the score of 46/4 at one stage. Dean Foxcroft and Llew Johnson recovered things for the Volts as they forged a partnership of 89 for the fifth wicket. Johnson scored 46 off 27 balls with five sixes to his name. Foxcroft held the innings together and scored an excellent 69 off 56 balls. Josh Finnie got into double figures while the top order crumbled. 9 extras were given by the fielding side as they ended up with 174/8 in 20 overs.

The Aces got off to a disastrous start in their chase, losing George Worker in the second over with just 5 runs to his name. Cole Briggs and Mark Chapman then took charge, scoring at a rapid pace. However, their progress was halted when Briggs was dismissed for 24 runs off 17 balls. Skipper Rober ODonnell joined Chapman at the crease, and the pair put on a 33-run partnership for the third wicket before Chapman was dismissed for 25 runs off 23 balls.

A swashbuckling inning from Sean Solia (39 off 29) who was ably supported by Ben Horne (23 off 17) from the other end. They glued a partnership of 56 off 34 for the fifth wicket. A small collapse for the Aces has put them back on the backfoot. Cameo innings of William ODonnell 12 off 6 helped his side close to the encounter. The home team is unable to score the winning run on the last ball, due to which the match ends in a tie and both teams share one point each.

The Volt's bowling attack was led by Jacob Duffy, who claimed two wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs. Matthew Bacon (4-0-46-2) also chipped in with a couple of wickets. Michael Rae, Ben Lockrose, and Dean Foxcroft bagged a solitary wicket a piece.

19.6 M Bacon to Donnell
W WICKET! Fuller length around off, Donnell pushes it to the cover fielder and they try to take a single. The run-out is effected at the bowler's end and this match ends in a tie.  Match tied and this will mean a point each for both sides. There is no super over here. The Otago Volts take a point here at Eden Park Auckland.
Scores are level
19.5 M Bacon to L Ferguson
1lb A leg bye.  Good length that hits on the pads. They go through for a leg bye as the ball goes to the off-side. A stifled appeal is turned down here.
WOW.... Lucky runs for the chasing side. 2 more runs from 2 balls.
19.4 M Bacon to L Ferguson
4 FOUR! Length ball here. Ferguson goes for the big one and gets the outside edge of the bat and goes through the keeper and the slip fielders and away for a boundary. This is a lucky boundary and Aces will take it. 2 runs are now needed off 2 balls.
19.3 M Bacon to Donnell
1 Fuller length around off, Donnell squirts it to the square leg fielder for a single.
7 off just 4 deliveries. We are being blessed with some sensational hitting here
19.2 M Bacon to Donnell
6 SIX! What a blow this is!  Fuller and in the slot, Donnell picks it up and lofts it straight over mid-on as the ball sails over long-on for the maximum. The maximum that keeps them in the contest.
19.2 M Bacon to Donnell
WD WIDE! Fuller and wide angling away and is given wide by the umpire.
14 off just 5 deliveries
19.1 M Bacon to Donnell
4 FOUR! The perfect start to the over.  Fuller and wide outside off, Donnell drives it handsomely through the covers as the ball races away to the cover fence. They need more of these.
18 more runs from 6 balls.
