Chasing 141, Sindh got off a rocketing start with Saim Ayub
and Sharjeel Khan who added 70 in just 7 overs. Saim Ayub the star of the season
was dismissed for 36 off 24. Shakeel joined hands with Sharjeel and added 39
for 2nd wicket. Sharjeel played an outstanding knock of 53 off 36. Skipper
Shakeel remained unbeaten on 18 and Omair Yousuf scored 21* off 12 to add the finishing
touches to chase 141 inside 15 overs.
The KP bowlers bowled well in patches but did not have a big score to defend. M Sarwar got a wicket along with Arshad Iqbal who got 1 for 43 in his 4-over spell. They tried to go short initially but runs were flowing all over from the Sindh batters. An ordinary effort and Sindh comes out on top in this finale.

opting to Bat 1st lost 3 wickets inside the powerplay. S Farhan (4),
K Ghulam (16), and A Amin (7) were the ones to depart early. Azmat came in and took
the innings forward with Rehan Afridi but got dismissed for 10 in pursuit of
getting the run rate going. Rehan Afridi top scored and got 43. M Sarwar supported
him well and scored 30 off 20 for his side. Skipper K Usman got 16. The
tailenders could not get much and KP was restricted to 140 and was all out inside their 20 overs.
The Sindh bowlers were brilliant overall led by
Sohail Khan who got 4 for 18 in his spell.
He was well supported by Mir Hamza and Asif
Mehmood who picked 2 a piece. Z Mahmood rounded it off with a wicket in his
4-over spell of 1 for 21. A good team effort by the Sindh side to keep the
Khyber side to 140 in the big finale.
Sindh is elated and they are giving a lap of honor to the crowd. A memorable win for the Sindh side as they go past Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in their 1st ever final appearance of the National T20 Cup.
