by beating Balochistan by 38 runs. With this win, they register their sixth win of
the competition and replace Sindh at the top spot in the points table.
Chasing 176, the Balochistan started inning with Haseebullah and Bismillah Khan. They had a solid start with openers and built up a partnership of 24 runs for the first wicket before Bismillah Khan departed at 15 runs off 11 balls. Haseebullah struggled to settle in middle but failed and was dismissed at 10 runs. Bangalzai looked comfortable in the middle and hit 2 fours and departed at 8. Balochistan had scored 44 runs and lost 3 wickets in the powerplay.
Sohail and Waqas resumed the inning. They both built up a partnership of 59 runs for the 4th wicket before Waqas at 19. Sohail played
well and scored 47 off 30 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes and was
dismissed. Afterward, lower middle orders and bowlers failed to score for the
team and they bundled out at 137 in 17
overs.
Earlier in the day, Balochistan won the toss and opt to bowl first. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started their innings with Rehan Afridi and Sahibzada Farhan. They had a solid start with their openers and built up partnership of 71 runs for first wicket before Rehan Afridi departed at 34 off 25 balls with the help of 6 fours. Kamran Ghulam joined with Sahibzada Farhan. They both contributed 64 runs for 2nd wicket.
Sahibzada Farhan looked great in middle and completed his first century in Domestic and was dismissed at 102 runs off balls with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. Ghulam also looked good in middle but went off at 26. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ended their inning at 175 with loss of 3 wickets in their 20 overs. Junaid Khan was the pick of the bowler, gave away 34 runs in his 4 overs and scalped 2 wickets while Yasir shah took one wicket for Balochistan.
